Loving and Loosing , Miraculous Ladybug

Chapter Eight

Marinette locked herself in the bathroom right away as they got home. Adrien sat on the couch and put his face in his palms. He felt terrible for how she felt, like he could have done something to help. If only Lila wasn't invited to that stupid party this wouldn't have happened.
"I hate Lila so much!" Adrien bursts out in frustration, slamming his hand on the living room table. Plagg flees out and stops Adrien from hitting it again. "Adrien. As much as I agree with you, I don't think the coffee table deserves the abuse." The kwami says, hugging Adrien's hand. The blonde nods and gives a slight smile to his Kwami, he loved plagg. Like a brother type of love. He never had a nice family, so that's what plagg was to him.
Marinette sat in the bathroom, crying from what had just happened. Tikki held onto the girls hand with her's. "I can't believe she would betray me like this Tikki. I trusted her and she told Nino. Of all people I thought I could trust, she was always the first." Marinette sobbed as the Kwami tried to comfort her. "Listen Marinette, I think you need time to figure everything out, but for right now Alya is a risk. You need to confiscate her miraculous until everything dies down. Alya betrayed not just you. but the guardian. As a holder of the miraculous you can't do things like that." Tikki explained. Marinette knew she was right, and it was what had to be done. "You're right, let's go get her Miraculous." She said, standing up from the bathroom floor she had just cried on. She wiped her tears and opened the door, facing Adrien who seemed to have been talking to Plagg.
"It's time to transform, we are going to retrieve Alya's miraculous at the Effiel Tower. It's not safe for her to know where you live, or where I'm keeping the miracle box. As much as this might be an over reaction, it's my job to make sure there are no risks towards loosing our miraculouses." Marinette says to Adrien as she opens a large window.
"I don't think you're over reacting at all. If she wants to be a holder, she's supposed to listen to the guardian no matter what. I've learned that the hard way." Adrien chuckles, recalling back to the time when he was a bit rebellious towards Ladybug. "Then let's get moving. Tikki, Spots on!" She transforms and swings out the window as Adrien just watches in awe. "Are you going to transform or get slobber all over the floor." Plagg rolls his eyes from his holder's actions. "Oh uh, yeah. Plagg, Claws out!"
Chat Noir followed close behind Ladybug as they made their way to the Effiel tower. The air blowing both of their hair in random directions as the moon shined bright in the sky. Chat felt so happy, not happy due to the circumstances, but because he knew his partner was now truly there for him. There was no invisible wall that held them back from one another. Ladybug however, was still extremely stressed about weather or not her best friend would hate her after what was about to happen, or what had already happened for that matter.
They finally made it to their destination as ladybug pulled out her bug phone, texting Alya - Effiel Tower, Now - And after that, all they had to do was wait. So they did, the two sitting next to one another as they looked up into the stars.
"You know Kitty, if it weren't for how sucky this night has been, I'd be so happy right here with you. I've always wondered what it would be like together without the secrets. I've always been afraid to break that barrier since shadow moth and something that happened before. I have always loved both sides of you Chat, and I always will." She put her hand over his, rubbing the back of his hand with her thumb. He gave a slight smile.
"As my Princess or M'lady, you've always had my heart. From the day I met you I've thought about no one else. Even when I did date all I could think about was how you felt or what you where doing. I know it may seem creepy but it was because I knew I couldn't get close to you without pushing boundaries. I hated the secrets, but I knew it was important to you. Every day for the past few years I've done nothing but love you." Chat turned to ladybug, seeing the tears in her eyes after his statement. He pulled her closer as she rested her head on his shoulder.
"You and me right?" Ladybug sobbed. She was talking about their quote they had always said together. It was her and him against the world, and that's all they needed. "You and me." He replied. Kissing her forehead as tears fell down her face.
After a few minutes had passed, Rina Furtive finally arrives. Ladybug and Chat Noir stand and face the girl, silent as their awkward stares fill the quiet air. "Before you take my Miraculous I want to ask you something." Rina steps forward, causing Chat to move one step in front of Ladybug. Rina looks the two back and forth before letting out a sigh. "My intentions where never bad with you Ladybug. Knowing who you are was one of the craziest things that has ever happened to me, and truly I'm honored. But do I regret telling my boyfriend? No, he deserves the truth from me." Rina crosses her arms and Ladybug steps forward.
"Alya, I do not care what you think anyone deserves. But, what I cared about was trust. As Guardian of the miraculous, you and Nino will no longer be holders of any Miraculous." Ladybug steps forward and takes the miraculous off of Alya, causing her to detransform. Ladybug puts the miraculous into her Yo-Yo, teleporting it to the miracle box.
"I hope you know what you are doing Ladybug, and who you are trusting." Alya looks over to Chat Noir, referring to him. "Not everyone is trustable."
"The only person I don't trust is you Alya. Have a nice night." Ladybug scoofs, runnning and diving off the edge as she swings away. Chat Noir shrugs and goes to jump to before Alya stops him. "Hey! How am I supposed to get down?" Alya questions. "Use the ladder." Chat cockily smiles and jumps off the edge, leaving Alya to climb down the entire tower.
