𝗠𝗬 𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗦 𝗜 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗗 my eyes, everything around me wobbling slightly. Rubbing a hand down my face, I blinked multiple times before standing upright with a groan. My chest heaved up and down as I gasped for breath through the smoke, then I turned to see Clementine on the ground at my feet. I dropped to my knees, putting a hand to her neck, feeling her heartbeat on my fingers. Sighing with relief, I shook her by the shoulder, her eyes soon opening wide as she breathed for air as well.
