jeongguk quietly sit inside his office room, while staring at a blank space, drowning in his deep thoughts----

taehyung's words kept ringing inside his mind ever since he heard his conversation with jimin---
the sadness, the longing broken voice of his husband haunt jeongguk's mind, it seems impossible to forget or even stop thinking about taehyung____

the ravenette suddenly got startled when hoseok his cousin shakes him hard, breaking his trace of thought
"huh? ---" jeongguk frowned glancing up at his cousin "what happened?"
"I should be one asking you this, I've been calling you for a minute but you were spacing out"
jeongguk sighed heavily rubbing his forehead tiredly as he shakes his head "nothing"
hoseok frowned but didn't pressure his cousin to answer him as he walked opposite side sitting on chair, facing the ravenette
"so I was saying, our Japanese client will be here in two days, everything is well prepared just a meeting with them will final this deal---" hoseok explained like a professional while looking through the file documents but when he glace up he sighed helplessly seeing jeongguk spacing out again---
breathing out slowly hoseok closed the files, keeping them on the side as he look at jeongguk in worry, as he murmured out the question he wants to ask
"how's taehyung?---"
the name of his husband immediately caught jeongguk's attention as he look at his cousin who was waiting for his reply calmly
"he's---" jeongguk started biting down his lips "----fine for now"
"is he alone at home?" hoseok asked thinking maybe that's why the ravenette is so bothered
"no, jimin is with him--" jeongguk mumbled sighing loudly
"then why you look so worried?" hoseok asked genuinely getting curious about what's bothering his cousin for awhile
"hyung---" jeongguk hesitantly murmured glancing up at hoseok anxiously "do you think taehyung deserves someone like me ?"
hoseok was taken aback by the sudden question, jeongguk never ever had asked him this question, and the desperate anxious look of his cousin only shocked hoseok more
hoseok frowned thinking how he should answers this? it's not like he was confused, no he was very clear about his answer however he don't want to see jeongguk's reaction
" Jeongguk----I"
"just be honest hyung" jeongguk smile bitterly seeing his cousin fumbling with his words, making hoseok sighed helplessly sighed
"no----"
hoseok breaths out looking away from his cousin "taehyung don't deserve someone like you--- you don't deserve taehyung jeongguk"
jeongguk smile bitterly looking down when he felt a sudden painful lump in his throat which suffocate him---
"taehyung is everything what anyone wants as their partner, he deserves someone who treats him like a prince, love him like no one ever did----" hoseok sadly mumbled sighing disappointingly
"----but you took him for granted gguk, you failed to give him the love he deserves"
It was harsh hence it was nothing but truth, what hoseok said was truth, a bitter truth which piercing through his heart
"I know you have your own reason behind it but still jeongguk taehyung didn't deserve the pain he went through"
"I can't even imagine how it will feel when your own life partner never shows any love, care, emotional towards you---" hoseok utter sadly "the pain----it's unbearable jeongguk"
jeongguk gulp down the painful lump in his throat, as his heart ached badly hearing the bitter truth from his cousin
hoseok was right, he indeed took taehyung for granted, he never showed his care for him, when in reality taehyung is the only one in his life whom he cares about
he never ever had imagine his life without taehyung around him, jeongguk always had thought taehyung will be there, besides him no matter what--- but he never had thought life will play with him again
he thought he has all the time to open up with his husband, but destiny decided to took his time
but can he blame them?

there's only one person whom he can blame-----himself, only himself.
it's his fault that he didn't appreciate the love he gets, it was his fault that he get scared----scared to get loved by someone
scared to trust his heart, when he heart only beats for his better half
it his fault he get insecure, and make the only person wait, who'd loved him selflessly, who proven his every doubt wrong--
but sadly it's not worth to feel guilty anymore---
he's too late---
"I--" jeongguk choked out biting back a threatening sob "it's too late hyung, I took long time to realise his worth"
"it's not" hoseok shakes his head catching jeongguk's attention
"it never was too late when it's comes to love gguk---" he smile sadly but assuring
"taehyung is still waiting for get loved, he still craves to get loved by you, and he is still with you---"
"I know we only have last few months---" hoseok murmured but there was hint of hope in his voice causing jeongguk to look at him in anticipation
"but you still can make them memorable for him gguk---" jeongguk's heartbeat quickened as he clench his fist out of nervous ness
"---make his last, forever."
