You smile with glee
Cry in melancholy
You are a human
Dupe yourself
To be at peace
You are a human
You take lives
To save lives

You commit the sins
And then redeem

Witness a crime
Then shut your eyes

You know the wrongs
Don't do the right
You are a human
You cry and shout
To suppress a voice
You are a human
And those there,
Are just like you-
Some know no grief
Some've lost belief
Some know the truth
Some hide the truth
Some take your hand
Some let you through
Some cry with you
Some laugh at you
Some have no eyes
And yet feel you
Some have the eyes
To overlook
Some are the good
Some are the bad
It's nothing new
You know it too
They all are just versions of you
They all are just reflecting you
You know the truth, you know you do
But still you will just sit aloof
Befooling us, befooling you
Afterall, you are a human
