-NAMJOON's POV-
"Mom! It's just a simple meeting! Why are you guys putting so much efforts on it!" I whined while taking the Rolex watch from my mom's hand which she has specially chose for me.
"It's not one of your business meeting you dumbo! It's your first blind date with a girl! How can we not put efforts on it?" She said while smacking my head and taking the black jacket from Hobi hyung who was smirking and wiggling his eyebrows at me.
I rolled my eyes at them and wore the jacket before tiredly plopping on the couch and snatching the Doritos from Jungkook's hand.
"Hey that's mine!!"
"I don't even know why are you guys so excited for this stupid blind date! It's not like I'll get married immediately after meeting with your best friend's daughter." I remarked and swatted away Jungkook's hand which was trying to grab the Doritos back.
"Oh come on hyung! It's your first ever blind date and here you are being so grumpy and all! Be excited! Who knows you might meet your Mrs Perfect on this date!" Jimin said excitedly.
I scoffed saying.."tsk! That's never gonna happen! It's all just a waste of time. Besides after dealing this date, I don't think I will see this girl ag-oww!!"
My mouth got shut off when Yoongi hyung threw a pillow on my face, earning a groan from me and laughters from the whole room.
"Stop with your negative remarks. You're reminding me of my high school's math teacher." He said boringly and laid back on the couch with a peaceful sigh.
I glared at him and stood up from the couch before snatching my black sneakers from Taehyung's hand and angrily wearing it.
My mom sighed at my behaviour and patted my back causing my muscles to relax slowly.
"Namjoon-ah, you don't have to take this date so seriously. If you don't like my best friend's daughter then you don't have to be with her, I promise." She said smiling gently at me and I smiled back at her understanding nature.
"Huh! As if the girl will choose your son over so many handsome man in this world. I bet she'll get bored of him in two minutes." My dad remarked sarcastically and did a high five with Jin hyung who until now was seriously playing chess with him but ended up laughing at his sarcasm.
And drumroll!
Another round of laughter appeared at the leaving room by my friends and dad while I rolled my eyes at them for the hundredth time.
"Don't mind your father. You just keep your mind calm and talk gently with her. Alright?"
Mom said making me to nod my head at her and leave but then I halted on my steps when I heard her saying again from behind.."Don't make her bored by talking about business!"
