The Last Class of the Day. . .

"Nino!" hissed Alya. "Can we work on the Physics homework at your place today?"

"Sure, Alya. Is something up?" asked Nino.

Alya said, "I kind of need to ask you something- in private."

Nino's eyebrows creased in a concerned look. "Okay."

"Alya! Please pay attention!" snapped Miss Bustier. "I need to get to this announcement."

The class had been mumbling about it all day. Miss Bustier had been looking a little more. . .un-Miss-Bustier-ish today than ever.

Alya dove down into her paper and her mind was everywhere but school.

What am I going to do? If Adrien really is Cat Noir, and I know for real, Marinette won't let me be Rena Furtive anymore!

But she doesn't need to know.

No way!!! Marinette needs to know that I know so-

Nobody needs to know. (YAY I SNEAKED A HAMILTON REFERENCE IN HERE)

Marinette trusts me, though! If I ever broke her trust-

I bet someone else knows both of their identities.

Oh, yeah? Like who?

I mean, Viperion was there for the whole of Wishmaker. Bet he knows.

Alya's head jerked up, holding in a breath. Her face was very scrunched. There's no way that Viperion would know.

But know Alya was wondering who he was and if he did know their identities.

"Alya, are you okay?" Marinette asked me. "I know I'm feeling- well, crappy, but I don't want it to rub off on you."

Alya's lip pursed. "Um- well- I- uh. . .I'm fine."

"Alya! This is your last warning!" Miss Bustier burst out. She took a deep breath. "Sorry, everyone. I'm very emotional today, and I'm just going to announce it now. Do you remember back when we were about to leave for New York, when I said I was going to have a baby?"

The class chorused with yes's.

"Well, it's due in six weeks, and I'm in a quite insane emotional state," answered Miss Bustier nervously. "I don't want to worry you, though."

"Miss Bustier, this is amazing news!" exclaimed Rose. "Do you know if it's a boy or girl?"

"No, my husband and I chose to wait," replied Miss Bustier.

"Who even is your husband?" asked Kim.

Miss Bustier giggled. "That's right, you don't know who my husband is. I go by my maiden name, so you don't know my spouse's last name."

"What is it?" asked Nathaniel.

Miss Bustier looked apologetically at Sabrina. Sabrina shook her head.

"Some people aren't exactly comfortable with my saying who I am married to," she said simply.

The class groaned. "When will you tell us?" Mylene wondered aloud.

"Eventually," said Miss Bustier. Then the bell rang and they were dismissed.

"Come on, Nino, let's go," said Alya. She ran off with Nino, leaving (depresso) Adrien and Marinette together at the arch of the school. Together.
