CHAPTER 24: LESHA'S BIRTHDAY

SHIN ELIAZER'S POV

Yesterday's photoshoot goes well when I know that j*rk Xian very fun of talking is one of her cousin. D*mn those b*stards for foolling me.

Naiinis akong napatingin sa telepono ng tumunog ito. It was Lesha's name registered on it. Sumeryuso ang mukha ko at kinuha ito.

'It's my birthday today are you planning to see me? You've been very cold this past few days.' I sign when I read her messages.

You betrayed me Lesha and then I realized all this years I'm inlove with Xian but I just can't accept and keep denying it. Today, after returning the necklace to her I will end my f*cking relationship with her.

What I feel about Lesha is not love at all. I took care of her, treat her like a queen not because of love. I thought so, pero hindi, dahil yun sa utang na loob sa pagligtas niya sa buhay ko.

Binalik ko ang cellphone sa lamesa pagtapos magreply na pupunta ako mamaya sa apartment niya. Nakatitig ako sa mga larawan naming dalawa ni Xian sa beach kahapon and all I can say was that she's really beautiful and sexy.

Nagalit siya sakin but she work with me professionally. It's me and my bad habit for getting jealous even though we're already over. Am I being possesive with the woman I don't own?

"Greetings to the son of a b*tch who's working his ass off for the company." Napatingin ako bagong dating. It was Sin and he's with Sean. Ano na naman ba ang ginagawa nila rito?

"You're face is dark big bro aren't you happy that we're here?" Nang aasar na sabi ni Sean at ngumisi. Bumuntong hininga ako.

"Look assh*les I don't have time for your useless tricks and pranks this time. So, leave me alone mor*ns." Nagtinginan muna ang dalawa baka humalakhak ng malakas.

"We're going with you. You're going to see Lesha after this right and give the necklace to her?" Kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi ni Sin.

"How did you know? And it has nothing to do with you." Ngumisi ang dalawa.

"Kuya Shin, ang utak ni kuya Sin ay makasalanan gaya ng pangalan niya. We just want to watch a very interesting show. Isang t*nga at isang d*sperada." Napahilamos ako sa mukha at tiningnan sila ng seryuso. Alam kong hindi nila ako titigilan.

"After you know that she's cheating on you, nakikipagkita ka padin. Well, I guess not until now after you give her that necklace." Kibit balikat na sabi ni Sin. I look at him.

"What are you talking about Sin?" Sumeryuso ang mukha nito.

"I don't want to spoil you Shin, you're my brother and I hate your st*pidity that's why it's your punishment. Hindi ka naman t*nga, well t*nga ka pero hindi ka naman yata b*bo kaya malalaman mo din kung ano ang ibig naming sabihin." Nangunot ang noo ko sa tinuran ni Sin. Tumango naman si Sean na mas lalong nagpausbong sa kuryusidad na nararamdam ko.

"If you have clues what I am talking about, my line is always free. Ask and I'll answer. Work hard bro." Tinapik nito ang braso ko at umalis. Tumayo naman si Sean at sinundan si Sin.

"Goodluck big bro, I know your hardwork will not put in vain. We hate the you today, please comeback the real you." Sabi nito bago ako iniwang naguguluhan. Anonf ibig nilang sabihin.

With that I can't focus to my work. Parang sasabog ang utak ko sa sobrang dami ng katanungan sa isip ko. Sinabunutan ko ang sariling buhok at naiinis na pinatay ang laptop.

Kinuha ko ang nakasukbit na coat sa aking upuan at kinuha ang susi ng aking sasakyan. I need to see Lesha to know the truth my brothers are talking to.

I need to know what happen why all of them are acting weird. I f*cking want to know each and every detail in my past that it seems like i forgot.

"Secretary Sha cancel my supposed to be meeting in this afternoon I have some important matters to attend." Tumango ito kaya nagmamali akong sumakay ng elevator.

Nakarating ako sa labas ng bahay ni Lesha na ako pa ang bumili. Bumusina ako at nakita kong pinagbuksan niya ako ng gate.

Ng makalabas sa loob ng sasakyan ay sinalubong niya ako ng matamis na ngiti at halik pero umiwas ako. Nauna akong pumasok sa loob ng bahay.

"Let's go inside." Tumango siya at sumunod sakin. I can see that she's sad but I don't give a d*mn. I need to know the truth.

Umupo ako sa pangisahang sofa niya dito sa sala. Nainis naman ako ng nakatayo lang ito sa harap ko.

"Sit." Maotoridad kong utos na sinunod naman nito. Bumuntong hininga ako at kinuha ang maliit na box sa loob ng coat ko. Nakita kong nakatingin siya ron at kumikislap ang mata. B*tch.

"Happy Birthday." Walang gana kong bati at binigay sa kaniya ang box. Binuksan niya ito at namangha.

"Oh my God Shin it's a pallet pendant necklace. How did you find it? Where? How much it cost? I haven't seen it in any jewelry shop we've visit before." Nagulat ako sa tinuran nito. Nakalimutan niya bang siya ang nay ari niyan?

Namamangha niyang pinagmasdan ang kwentas ng tumunog ang cellphone ko. Sin's name is on it.

'I know you're already there grab the necklace and come see me.' Seryuso kong binasa ang text niya. I grab the necklace from Lesha's hand nagulat ito pero hindi ko na pinansin.

"I forgot this is not the necklace I want to give to you. I'll see you when I have time to." Malamig kong ani at iniwan siyang nakatulala at naguguluhan.

Sana mali ang naiisip ko Lesha, kasi kung hindi you'll be dead. Pinatawad na kita sa panluluko mo na hindi mo padin inaamin hanggang ngayon. Pero kapag tama ako sa hinala ko ngayon, I'm sorry but I wouldn't let you go.
