Thank you to all my readers and lovers of Surprisingly Perfect for over 1,000,000 reads! We did it!

I created this timeline to see how we got to where we are today.

Winter, Early 2019:

On a snowy weekend, Jess, 24, and her now ex-spouse are at their local Carrabba's Italian Restaurant for a date night. The couple is having a great night, especially because their waiter is James, their favorite.

The couple are talking about Wattpad and how hard it is for Jess to, after all these years, gain followers. The duo laugh about the names of characters in a book Jess was critiquing in exchange to get followers. Jess ponders the idea of writing her own cliche book with her own unique characters. Her then-partner suddenly blurts out:

"Chrysanthemum Everston and Jace Hetcher!"

He and Jess have a laugh and continue with their meal, unaware of how that date night was the start of a life-changing event.

February/March 2019:

On the weekends, while her then-husband is at work, Jess finds herself bored and with a lot of free time. While doing a read for read with someone, she reads a teen pregnancy story. Things quickly spiral out of control. She goes on a binge of reading Wattpad teen pregnancy stories and falls in love. They become her new favorite thing to read, her favorite of which is "16 and Pregnant" by user rand0more0.

She thinks about her own ideas and how she could twist the normal Wattpad cliche. Everyone usually did stories with either boy/girl twins or girl/girl twins. She only read one story where with boy/boy twins, and they were identical. How about boy/boy twins that are fraternal? How about a story where instead of the guy stepping up, it's the opposite?
