Mahiru sighed as she put down the electronic handbook of her own, after having mindlessly scrolled through it looking that the new rules Monokuma had implemented as part of his deadly game. She was lying on a deckchair next to the pool back at the hotel, and she looked up to see that it was now dark out. The sun had retreated down behind the horizon, and the warm night created a calming mood. The sky was practically cloudless, and the stars glimmered in the black sky. The view, weather, atmosphere, everything...It was all perfect...Mahiru could easily stay where she was and gaze at it for a long time, in complete tranquility and peace...
But the reality of the situation made this nigh impossible. The danger had only been rumors before now, but now, it was undeniably real.
