Mirror

Chapter 10

As the two Ishtars looked through the black book they had found..they had come across a particular spell..one that had been written in another language..."Sister..isn't this one of the lost languages?..." Marik had suddenly asked,Ishizu nodded "Yes,it seems that this language...the language of Daemon...had been used in a spell.." she would say in response,causing Marik to tilt his head "Maybe this could get your friends free?" he would ask in question..."Maybe,but we are not familiar with this langue,we would have to either learn it quickly or find a way to translate it" Ishizu said,a slight sigh in her voice..sadly,doing either thing wouldn't be so easy for the Ishtars,even if they tried....however,that wouldn't stop them,they would then start to look for a way to translate a lost language,even if they had to try over and over again...

As the two walked out of the forest and headed back to the palace,Yugi couldn't help but to have his mind on that voice from last night...he was so out of it that he wasn't looking where he was walking,causing him to trip over something and fall,luckily for him Atem was there to catch him..concerned,Atem stayed close to Yugi...
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine.."
"Then why do you seem so....out of it?"
"What do you mean?"
"Yugi...you almost fell..."
Yugi had come to a stop suddenly "It's just..."
"Yes?" Atem had asked,as he stood there by Yugi
"I..heard a voice last night...not only that but,I..felt the magic from the pendant.."
"Oh really?" Atem seemed skeptical of what Yugi was saying,but he only shook his head as his other worldly friend spoke
"Y-yea..the magic and the voice sounded and felt so..familiar to me...I don't know why"
"Hm...maybe you have used this magic before?"
"That's what the voice said..that I used it before..though,I'm not sure I can trust what it said"
Atem smiled "Yugi..trust who you want to trust,however..not everyone or everything is what they seem here,so I would take caution if I were you"
"R-right.." Yugi said with a nod,suddenly dark clouds started to roll in...it was like the sky was growing dark,and even cold...the two quickly headed to somewhere dry in case it would've rained...after a few hours of waiting out,it finally started to rain,Atem kept watch in case of other signs of the rain getting worse..all Yugi could do was stare and look Atem over,blushing he would then look away,only for Atem to catch him doing so
"Why the blush?"
"I-it's nothing" Yugi said,lying
"You don't have to hide anything,it's just us here" Atem said with a slight chuckle causing Yugi to sigh
"It's just....I thought that you were going to be someone else..but I guess I was wrong"
"Hm?..what do you mean by that,Yugi?"
Yugi blushed deeper "I..thought that you were going to be someone that was evil..or even forceful...but I'd never thought that you would be so kind"
Hearing Yugis words had Atem speechless...never had he been complemented like this before,all he got was unkind looks and the like for his actions in the past
"Heba...: " Atem would suddenly blert out,not thinking...Yugi would look at him and tilt his head "But I'm not-" Yugi would start to say before suddenly getting tightly hugged by Atem..."Thank you..." he would suddenly say in a whisper as he hugged Yugi
"F-for what?" Yugi asked,confused
"For coming into my life...for being you...for..everything"
Yugi couldn't help but smile,Atem had pulled away at that point,he would look at Yugi..staring into his eyes...suddenly he would kiss Yugi softly on the cheek only to then smile and go back to watching the rain...Yugi blushed and smiled at this,only to let out a quiet sigh...

Ishizu and Marik had spent hours translating the spell they found,it took them over three to finally get it all translated...Ishizu got the mirror that Yugi and Atem where stuck in and set it in front of her...Marik moved away to give his sister space...Ishizu would then get ready to chant and cast the spell,she had wondered if it would work or not...she had hoped it would,if it didn't then the two would be stuck in that mirror for centuries to come...

What's the spell that Ishizu is going to cast? Will it work to get Yugi and his new Partner,Atem,out of the mirror...or will they be forever stuck in Nexus?...find out next time!
