<Third person POV>

The doctor was not expecting that response. He expected the woman to cave. Grumbling under his breath—something about how women need to learn their place—he trudges to the phone to call security.

Natasha barely is able to contain herself after that comment. If it were up to her, he'd be dead already.

Tony, after forcing the location of the perverted doctor from some poor nurse, ran as fast as he could to get to her room. What if Natasha left? What if that bastard is alone with Katie? He worries it'll be too late. Peter is still following him like a confused, lost puppy. Not knowing what's going on, he's getting frustrated. Why won't they just tell him what's happening?

At the same moment, two supersoldiers were making there way to visit Katie. When they heard a strange man's voice coming from the room, they picked up their pace. Natasha's voice, agitated and angry, was all it took to send them both sprinting to the room.

The three people in the room jumped when the door slammed open. Katie's monitors are going crazy and she is barely conscious. The soldiers look at the man with a look that practically scared the shit out of him. They are big, much bigger than him, and they look enraged.

By this time Katie's actual doctor has arrived and began pushing her way through the large men blocking the door, only concerned with the safety of her patient. From the other side of the hall both Stark and Parker are running to the room.

Seeing the soldiers in her room makes Tony able to breathe again. The real doctor yells at everyone to get out of her room. They all comply, afraid of what the angry doctor might do if they didn't.

Outside of the room the tension lies thick.

Everyone—besides a confused Peter—wanted to murder the doctor slowly and painfully.

Uncomfortable with the looks he's receiving, he turns and walks down the hall. Bucky goes to follow him, but is stopped by Steve, "we can't do anything right now, Buck."

Clenching his jaw and fists, Bucky glares daggers at the retreating figure. Peter looks around at the angry group of superheroes. "What's going on?" he questions. "Why are you guys upset with him? Who is he? What did he do?"

The group pauses, just realising that Peter is still with them. They glance around looking for someone to come up with a lie. Peter, getting frustrated with all the secrets crosses his arms and tries to keep his cool.

"Nothing to worry about, kid," Tony puts on one of his fake smiles, sauntering over to his son and placing an arm over his shoulders. Peter shrugs his arm off and glares because he knows that they're not telling him something.

He doesn't know, however, that this thing they were keeping from him isn't their story to tell.

The team exchange looks, having a silent conversation amongst themselves. Tony tells Peter that they're going back to the tower and he gets upset because he doesn't want to leave.

Katie's just got up! What if she wakes up again? He wants to be there to make sure she's okay! After much convincing, they return to the tower. Though Peter refuses to talk to anyone and glares at everyone, he knew that he didn't really have much of a choice. He knows, realistically, he couldn't have stayed there forever.

While Peter is texting Ned about everything in his bedroom, Steve, Bucky, Tony, Natasha, Clint, and Bruce sit in a conference room. They're trying to figure out what they should do to give the doctor what he deserves.

"I could call some people," Bucky offers, once again. Tony gives him a look. "Come on! I called them and they took care of the guys at the apartment complex."
