I pushed Tav strategically through the hall, avoiding people and teachers as I made my way to his next class. We were finally seniors and it was only 2 months till the end of school.
"So, are you excited for your date with Vri tonight?" I asked, once in the elevators safety.
"Uh... I'm kinda nervous..." He answered, playing with a string on his bag.
"When are you not?" I asked, getting a small laugh from him.
"What if I mess something up?" He asked, leaning against his armrest.
"You'll be fine. Don't worry about it. Beside, we still have a few periods left." I laughed, steering him out of the elevator and rushing down the hallway, not wanting to be late again.
When I made it to the class, I waved at Vri, sitting in the corner doodling in her notebook and practically sprinted to History. As I walked in the room, the late bell sounded and I fell into my chair next to my friend, Nepeta, sighing. I noticed Gamzee looking at me out of the corner of my eye and he smiled a bit before looking back to what looked like sketching.
