The next morning I woke up early at 8 a.m. I pulled on my ugg slippers and walked towards Max's room. I opened the door without knocking knowing he would still be asleep. Once I saw he definitely was asleep I jumped on his bed shouting "quick wake up it's finally the day your leaving." "Urgh," was all he said before he pushed me off the bed. "Ow," I shouted as I rubbed my leg that I had landed on.
A couple of hours later Max was saying goodbye to my mum and dad as he was finally returning home to his and Lando's house after visiting for Christmas.
"Bye lola," Max said as he gave me an awkward side hug "oh actually I completely forgot to ask but would you like to come round tomorrow for a movie night? The whole quadrant team are coming." "Yes, sounds good I'll message you tonight once I've checked I'm free"
"Bye guys," were the last words uttered by Max before he walked out of the house closing the door behind him. "Mum are you really crying?" I questioned as I turned back around from the door and saw my mum beginning to well up. "I..I...I,"my mum stuttered " I just miss my babies, all my babies, when they aren't at home" "Aw mum," was all I said before wrapping my arms around her. "Right I'm going upstairs," I said letting go of her and walking towards the stairs.
After going back upstairs I messaged Zara asking if she wanted to meet up today. After she replied saying she would pick me up in an hour and we could go out to eat I began to get the stuff I would need ready and topping up my makeup. 50 minutes later I walked downstairs and pulled on my shoes. As I was tying my laces Zara walked in through the front door. "Hiya." I said standing up off the stairs. Wrapping her arms around me Zara replied "hi."
After quickly grabbing my bag we walked out to Zara's car. After getting in the car Zara started "So how was your Christmas? I feel like I haven't seen you in ages." "I know," I started "it was good I saw Lando Max's friend and he bought me a Louis Vuitton bag," I said excitedly. "Lucky bitch," Zara squealed. "I know, I could have cried,"I said. Minutes later we pulled up to a cute little cafe on the outskirts of town. After Zara parked we headed inside and sat down in a cute little booth.

After looking at the menu I decided to order waffles and Zara ordered French toast. After catching up and chatting about other random topics for a while our food arrived I snapped a quick photo to post on my Instagram story later and began eating.

After eating our brunch Zara and I headed into town to do a bit of shopping. First we went into Zara and I just bought some more basics. Then we headed into urban outfitters where I found a couple of cute 60's style bright dresses that would be cute for parties. Zara also bought a few things and once we had lots of bags between the two of us we walked back to Zara's car and went back to my house. Tonight was my last night at my family home before going back to uni tomorrow after going to Max's for movie night. My mum invited Zara to stay for dinner and to watch a movie with us, because it had started to get late by the time we had finished the movie Zara decided to stay over. We ended up staying up all night like when we were young talking and laughing for hours.
The next morning Zara had to leave early to go back to her university to get ready for a lecture she had that afternoon. After she had left I got ready for the day deciding to dress comfy as I was just going to do some work then go to Max's in the evening.
A few hours later I had finished my work so decided to head over to Max and Lando's house. After loading the last of my things I would need at uni into my car I said goodbye to my mum and dad and set off to Max's. 20 minutes later I arrived at the house. After pulling onto the drive I walked up to the door and rang the bell. A few seconds later Lando opened the door. "Hi Lola." He smiled as he opened the door. As butterflies formed in my stomach looking at his smile I replied "Hi." Max soon appeared behind Lando and just nodded ushering me inside. The three of us all headed toward the living room. Lando and I sat on the sofa while Max opted for the armchair. Lando started to scroll through Netflix while Max got up to get snacks. After finally deciding on a movie we all sat down to watch.
Part way through the film I got a bit cold and shivered. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed Lando look at me then stand up and walk out of the room. A couple of minutes later he returned with a big, fluffy, grey blanket in his arms. Sitting back down much closer this time he threw the blanket over the two of us. As I snuggled into the blanket I focused my attention back on the television.
An hour later, when the movie had finished I yawned as I headed towards the door to put my shoes and coat on to head back to uni. That was when Lando came round the corner into the hallway and said "Your welcome to spend the night in the guest room if you want. It's staring to get late." Because of how tired I was and how long the drive back to my university I decided to stay the night. After going to the car and grabbing my bag I headed up to the guest bedroom. After saying goodnight I went into the en-suite bathroom and began doing my night time skincare routine.
Once I had changed into my pyjamas and brushed my teeth I walked back into the bedroom. Letting out a scream after seeing someone in the bedroom Lando turned around and said "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you I just wanted to say goodnight and that I had fun tonight you should visit more often." As soon as, he finished he sentence he got up and left the room. Still in shock I climbed into bed and went straight to sleep.
