It was at that moment I decided I would break the family rule like my brother did to find that waterfall,
I took my first step outside the cave and a wave of anxiety went through me.
It felt good, it got my heart pumping and I wanted more!
I began running away from the cave at high speeds dodging trees left and right, it felt amazing, I felt free, a feeling I've wanted for what felt like ages!
Roughly 20 minutes later I start to smell something, a scent I never smelled before, It was comforting.
I came to a screeching stop and all I could do was stare forward, I had found it.
A view unlike any other, A beautiful waterfall falling into a spring that lead to a small river surrounded by flowers, the water was clear and clean, I could stay here forever.
I sat in the flowerbed and rested my feet in the water, it wasn't very cold, it felt amazing. This is what I was missing my whole life, even though I was only 14 years old it felt like I was missing this for centuries.
What happened next changed my life forever, I heard steps approaching
