An hour had passed, me and Serena were talking about ourselves, we talked about our families and I showed her some of my magic.
She asked me a question that made me realize something.
"Can you fly Sparrow?"
"You know what now that I think of it, No I can't. I never learned how. I suppose that's something I'll have to ask my father to teach me. Oh my, my father! He'll be returning soon. I must head back!"
I jumped up but before I could run off she grabbed me arm
"Hey, I really enjoyed this. W-Wanna meet here tomorrow at the same time?"
A wave of anxiety rushed through me again but for some reason I replied with
"Yes, I'd love to"
She then said something that never left my mind
"Promise me, We'll meet here tomorrow. Friend"
I had never made a promise before.
"I promise you, Serena"
She smiled and let go of my arm, I then dashed away heading back to the cave. All I could think about were those green eyes.
