To explain our magic we must go back to the past, a story my mother told me.
500 years ago our ancestors were seen as gods to the people of earth,
There were many gods, from water god, to fire gods. My power comes from those they called The Creators,
Gods with the power to create and restore life. They were the strongest of all gods but there was very few.
Unfortunately with Creation comes Destruction.
A war broke out, the Destroyer gods wanted what the Creators had, The ability to grant immortality, when the Destroyers were denied immortality they gathered as many gods from all elements, together they all used every ounce of their power against the Creators. In the end the leader of the Destroyers found the sorce of the immortality, a crystal known as the Creators Core, as a last ditch effort to stop the Destroyers from gaining immortality the leader of the Creators gave his life away and used all his power to destroy the Core, In the mix he killed all the remaining gods, except for two.
A female Destroyer known as Berith
And a Creator known as Aaron
The two did something never before heard of, a Destroyer and a Creator.
Fell in love and together they restored the Creator Core. They have been alive for 500 Years.
They are my Mother and Father
