𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 the dusty glass windows, my boots creaking up the admin stairs along with Clementine’s and AJ’s. It was the day we were going to find out the verdict of whether we were staying or not. I couldn’t help the hopefulness in my heart, this place already felt like the start of a home.

AJ: He’s gonna let us stay, right?

Clementine: I guess we’re gonna find out.

Emma: But let’s hope so. Although, the first puzzle is where his damn office is. Did they build this thing so people would get lost or what?

AJ: I know where it is. I’ll show you.

He rushed up the stairs before us, excitement flooding through him with a smile.

AJ: Up here! Come on, you two. This way.

Clementine: Hey! AJ – wait for us!

Emma: Goddamn, he is fast.

Clementine and I finally reached the top of the stairs, panting for breath and then AJ led us through some huge double doors, into a fancy-looking office. There was a balcony on the other side of the room, a huge fireplace to the right with a portrait of what must have been Ericson and on the left, there was a massive desk, filled with random objects and a leather seat sitting behind it. On the floor in front of us was Tenn, a plastic police officer figurine in his hand.
