𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗞𝗬 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗞 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗘 splattered over it in glowing white spots. A breeze blew past us as we stood in a clearing just beside the Delta’s boat. Torches blazed around the pier and the water rushed down the river with a fierce amount of force. Walkers began to walk through the forest, giving us the sign that James had got them to the boat in time.
Motioning to Clementine, we both snuck behind a tree, waiting for one of the soldiers to kill one of the walkers to drag it back to the group and gut it. It took a few minutes, but then a bullet shot right through one of their heads and we were able to pull it back to the others.
Ruby: Ugh, I guess we’re really doing this.
Emma: Don’t worry, Rubes. Only the people who are actually sneaking onto the boat will have to get the walker guts all of themselves.
Ruby: Now we just need your walker friend to–
AJ: He’s here!
Ruby jumped as James appeared behind her, standing awkwardly with no sense of social skills.
