Elena and the preparations for Alice's wedding

Several days had passed since Miriam Cruz was helping Alice lose weight so she could fit into a beautiful dress for the day of the marriage proposal.

-"Mom, your progress is very noticeable" Elena said smiling when she saw that Alice's belly had significantly reduced

-"Thank you Elena, by the way, I already have your dress for the anime and video game event that you told me, I'm sure you'll look beautiful, I did it according to your instructions" Alice said smiling as she showed Elena the dress

-"Mom, thank you very much, the event will be this Saturday, I would like you to attend" Elena said while taking a look at the dress

-"I will do my best to attend, Ana has assigned me many administrative activities, meetings, I will have a busy Saturday" said Alice somewhat embarrassed, she wanted to see Elena in her event

-"Don't worry mom, with the dress I feel very happy" said Elena

-"Elena, by the way, how are the preparations going for the marriage proposal?" Alice asked smiling

-"It's next week mom, the date is approaching" Elena said somewhat worried because Alice was not going to be able to get into the dress for the event

-"I understand Elena, could you tell Jean's parents and mine?" Alice asked

-"Ohh!! I can't believe it!! I forgot!!!!!" exclaimed Elena realizing that she had not made the invitations

-"I trust you are going to call them today Elena, I already have to go to work" Alice said smiling as she put on her maternity dress because it was still the only dress she could wear

-"I'm going to go to the office of my event agency to make the calls and finish coordinating the day of the proposal, see you mom" Elena said as she prepared her bag before leaving.

Elena arrived at the event agency and prepared to call Jean's parents.

-"I hope they answer me now" Elena said while making the call

But Jean's dad didn't answer the call

-"He must be busy, I'll call Mrs. Linda, I hope she still doesn't think I'm a robotic doll" Elena said as she dialed Jean's mother's number

But Jean's mother didn't answer the call either.

-"I can't believe it!!! They don't answer, I'll call their landline" said Elena who was already getting desperate

-"Hello, this is Dean Carter" replied Jean's brother to the call

-"Hello Dean, my name is Elena MidNight, I am organizing the marriage proposal of your brother Jean Carter and I want to invite you and your parents to the event" Elena said with a very sweet voice

-"Hello Elena, my mom told me about my brother's courtship, we would love to attend, but my parents are away and I'm taking care of their house" said Dean somewhat embarrassed

-"....eh, then, when will they come back?" asked Elena somewhat astonished

-"They will be back in a month, I think it would be best if you schedule the event for the end of next month Elena" Dean said with a calm voice

-"Thank you very much Dean, I'm going to adjust the date of the event" Elena said somewhat relieved, now Alice would have more time to lose weight and be able to wear the dress she wanted

-"Do you know how my brother is doing?" Dean asked

-"He is doing very well, I see him very happy with Alice, now they are in a house near the beach, I have never seen them so excited" said Elena
