As the dawn of a new day arose, Emrys made his way across the street to his home. You would think she would know who lives there by now, but really none of the neighbors knew who actually lived in that house. They all assumed it was probably a grumpy old man to wrapped up in self grief to see the outside world. So they all moved on with their lives and didn't give it to much thought. He was happy with this, it meant he could watch over her and go unnoticed.

When he entered the house he quickly showered, changed and grabbed a bite to eat.  Emrys knew she liked to go for a run in the morning so he had to be quick at home to catch up with her. He made sure to exit from the back of the house or he would get unwanted attention.

He watched her from the shadows as she ran down the path towards the lake. He knew it was her favourite spot to think and ironically enough that was his favourite place in town. He could tell she was in total bliss when she closed her eyes and opened her arms wide, as if waiting for a hug. It was her way of letting everything go.

***********

Today was like any other: wait, follow, watch and go home. There wasn't much to his life but he was content with it. Just to see his butterfly was enough to make his whole week good. He watched from within his car, as she exited the elevator and made towards her vehicle. He noticed something was different about his angel. She looked frazzled? He wasn't quite sure what it was but he knew something upset her.

This is strange he thought to himself. She usually never breaks routine, why she is at the supermarket? As she made her way out of her car towards her destination, he followed in pursuit. She looked frantic, she looked over her shoulder to see if anyone was following her.

"where are you going little butterfly?" He pondered to himself. She made her way towards the back of the store. He looked around trying to spot any suspicious looking eyes. This just didn't add up why would she be going to the back of the store? The only things there are gardening tools and she doesn't garden for the life of herself.

Again he started to look around the gardening area to find any possible threats. He needed to get her out before something fatal happened. As she rounded the corner of the seed section he notice an opposing party to her left. He was dressed in a black suit and had sunglasses on. The outcome of this situation wasn't looking bright.

The man must of notice his stare and turned around to face  Emrys. As his eyes locked with quizzical looking sunglasses he couldn't help but give him, his deadliest glare to try and scare him away from his butterfly. There was something vaguely familiar about the man but Emrys couldn't care less right now, all he needed to do was get his angel out of there.

His angel was pretending to occupy her time with a shovel. Even in threatening times she could still make him laugh. The man was eyeing her quite a lot and Jace was getting annoyed with the unwanted attention.

The dangerous man started to pursue his butterfly and all he could do was watch. Dammit! Why couldn't he do anything? Everything seemed to happen in slow motion. He could only stand and watch as the man made his approach to his precious angel and took her by her arm and shove her against the wall of seeds. He was fuming no one hurts what's his! That seemed to break his trance and he started towards the man. The man's back was facing Emrys and he took this to advantage and grabbed him in a head lock. The fellow was surprised at Emrys advance and he took this as another advantage and kicked the back of the guy's knee, making him fall on the floor. As he let go of the man's neck he grabbed both his arms and pinned them to his back. With his other hand he squeezed the man's shoulder at a pressure point making him fall unconscious. As he looked up to his angel he realised he did this in front of her. Dammit this is not good, he was meant to stay hidden. Now she's seen him, there was no going back. Once both beloved have faced there soulmate there was no ignoring it. The bond will get stronger and soon she will be craving for his touch.

"Thank you" she said breaking him out of his trance. She was frazzled, though she eyed him with curiosity.

"Have we met before?" Waverly pondered to herself. She was so enchanted by this man, a man she didn't even know. There was somethings about him, something mysterious. "Yeah because he saved your life, Waverly." Her subconscious piped up.

"Are you hurt?" The man asked breaking her out of her thoughts. Waverly just shook her head. "Ahh you could have got seriously hurt. Why did put yourself in danger like that!"

Emrys had pretty much lost it, he couldn't imagine ever losing her, and she just goes and waltz's into trouble. He stopped himself from saying more when he saw the look on Waverly's face. It was one of frightfulness. Before he could stop himself he went to her and rubbed her arms.

"I'm sorry, for yelling at you, you just gave me a fright. I have no idea what I would have done with myself if something happened to you." He said it before he could even stop himself. "Great now she's going to run off because I had to open my mouth." He thought to himself.

To his surprise she didn't flinch away at his words, nor at his affection towards her arms.

She was amazed she didn't run for the hills when he opened up to her. She knew they must have met somewhere or he would never have said what he did. So she decided to ask "I'm sorry have we met before?" He was about to answer, when the man on the ground started to move.

"We have to go." He stated. Why would he have to go with her, she pondered. "Oh shut up, now's not the time." Her subconscious sneered.

"Do you trust me?" The beautiful man asked. For some reason totally unknown she did trust him. "Yes strangely enough." She said, just barely a whisper.

The next thing she knows, he grabs her hand and a million sparks go flying up her arm. "Whoa, what was that?" She thought. Before she could contemplate any longer, the mystery man was guiding her outside towards the parking lot.

"Wait we just missed my car!" Waverly yelled out.

Emrys chuckled to himself, and answered, "whoever is after you knows what your car looks like angel. We're going to take mine."

"Where are we going?" Waverly was starting to get nervous. What if he worked for them? She would never know....then again he did save her from being choked so....

"I can't tell you that yet." The man replied. "You'll just have to trust me." He said as an afterthought.

"Great I don't even know the guy's name and me wants me to trust him?" she thought to herself.

"You know, I don't even know your name." She stated. He laughed and turned to her and gave her his pantie dropping smile.

"I'll tell you on the way there. Now get in." he said as he opened the door for her.

The weather had dropped tenfold and his saw his angel shivering. "Here have this, your cold." He stated, as he took off his jumper and handed over to her. She thanked him and he started the car and drove off towards their destination. He looked over to her and he noticed she was in a daze staring out the window.

She really hated the silence, she couldn't take it anymore. She knew he was staring at her but she couldn't bring herself to do the same. Otherwise she might just do something incredibly stupid.

He was gorgeous, with his raven black hair, defined jaw, high cheek bones and what looked like a body to die for. He was the epiphany of sexy.

"You said you would tell me your name." she voiced out of the blue. He laughed.

"I did, did I? My names  Emrys." He turned and glanced at her quickly. "Hold it together dammit don't do anything stupid. Damn sexy name for a sexy guy." She thought. She shook her head trying to get herself together again.

"Oh...cool, my names...." He cut her off.

"Waverley, I know what your name is." She stared at him in utter shock. "How...what....how?!" she thought.

"How do you know that?"

"I know many things. I'll explain when we reach the cabin." Her face was of complete and utter shock. He glanced at her and couldn't help but chuckle. "She was too cute." He regarded to himself.

"What cabin!" she asked, panicked. He sensed her frightfulness and grabbed her hand and rubbed her knuckles. He was expecting her to flinch away but she didn't.

"In all do time love."
