The morning light hit her tear stained face, creating a warm sweat to form on her forehead and drizzle down her neck. The running sweat tickled her sleeping form and woke her up.

She opened her eyes to be welcomed with her bedroom window. She finally felt calm, but that soon faded when the recollection of yesterday hit. Didn't she fall asleep in his car?

With a jolt of adrenal running through her veins she jumped up from her bed and grabbed the book on her bed side table. "A book for a weapon?" it was the best she could do though, she thought.

Sprinting out of the door she searched every room carefully. She knew hadn't slept walk and she's in different clothes! Well a piece of clothing. She was only wearing a shirt! Very carefully she descended the stairs and came to the entrance of the off cream walls of her hallway. The hallway only led to one place, the kitchen. She'd checked all the other rooms, so someone must be in the kitchen.

She was as quiet as the wind on a still afternoon... or at least that's what she thought. To an outsider she probably sounded as if she had just ran a marathon. Her breathing was heavy and her hands were sweaty. All the anticipation to see if someone was in her house made her nervous.

As she came within a foot of the kitchen door she could smell the faintest scent of coffee. As steady as she could she jumped through the kitchen door and into the kitchen, prepared to fight whoever was in her house but she was only faced with a cup of coffee and a note on the kitchen bench.

Baffled, she lowered her not so weapon of choice and made her way over to the coffee and suspicion looking note. Not wanting to prolong the enviable, she picks up the sticky note.

Good morning love, I had to collect my car I hope you don't mind, your door was open so I put you in your bed.

I hope we can talk

Emrys

She understood he needed his car, but to change her into different clothes? How dare him! Putting the note down, she picks up her coffee. It was still hot, he must have just left or her coffee would have been cold.

Her anxiety was now replaced with rage who the hell does he think he is? He said if she had any questions to go to the house across the road. She had questions, she had a lot of them. The first was who the hell he think he was to undress her!

She retraced her steps back to her room and dressed herself into slacks and a cream blouse. If she was going to confront this guy, she was going to do it in style. As cheesy as that many sound, the clothing she dressed in made her feel empowered and in control. Being in control was what she needed the most now.

With that said she races down the stairs and out the front door. She scans her surroundings until her eyes fall upon a weathered down wooden house across the street. Ironically she never gave much thought about that house but now it was all she could think about.

Making her body move again, she speeds towards the house and marches up the pouch steps. She reaches her hand up to knock on the door but was stopped short when the door swung open. Surprise took her by shock for only a second, until she lifted her pointer finger and hit it against a solid wall of muscle.

"You, mister, are one brave smuck to be undressing someone! You know could have just waited until later in the day to pick up the car! Actually, I want to know how you my address in the first place!"

Emrys was waiting for the retaliation and boy did he sure get it! "Waverly, i'm the house across from you, that's how i found your place and check the time Waverly, i'm sure you'll be surprised."

"What! I just got all up in your face and you ask me the time? W-why would I need to know the time right now anyway?"

His only response was a watch to her face. Waverly adjusted her eyes to the watch in front of her. "2.35pm.....oh...." she hadn't realized she had slept most of the day away. She just assumed that it was morning. The weather was cold and had that morning chill, so she just assumed. But with further contemplation she still realized that he was still in the wrong.

"That still doesn't give you any reason to undress me!"

"Well I tried to wake you up but you were out of it. I didn't want to wake you and you left your front door unlocked. You looked so uncomfortable so, yes I did change you...and put you to bed..."

Emrys somehow thought he could get himself out of this. But this only seemed to anger her more.

"Uhhh...you insufferable man! Can't you just leave me be!"

"Look I'm sorry that I undressed you, but it was all for you, I didn't even look." She gave him a pointed stare not falling for his white lie. "Fine, maybe a looked a little but it was just to see if the shirt went on properly, I promise."

She was fuming! That stupid, idiotic man.....was he even a man!? This situation was so messed up!

"I'm sure that wasn't the only question you had, just come in and i'll make a cup of tea or something and while i do that, you can write down all your questions and i'll answer every single one. what do you say."

Her defenses were down, how did he do it? Make her so angry one minute and so clam the next? His offer was all she needed. Her head had been so jammed up with new information that it was starting to give her a headache, but now for some strange reason, she couldn't think of anything to ask, nor was the recent information bugging her.

So with a sigh she answered, " alright, and i like coffee, not tea; half milk with two sugars and not burning hot please."

Before Emrys could answer she had stepped through the door and made her way to the kitchen. He cracked a smile and as she turned the corned no longer in view. He had been watching over her for four years and never in that time did he think she would with be this strong headed.  What a beloved he had.....
