My head was throbbing, the aftermath of drinking with old college mates. We met up in a nearby bar to catch up. After many beers, I went home, instantly falling asleep. I had just woken up. I groaned as I reached over in my bed. I felt the space, empty. I opened my eyes. Sitting up groggily, I look to realize my girlfriend was gone. A frown painted my face. I wanted nothing more than the comfort of her.
"Good morning, sleepy head." I heard the voice say as the door swung open, there she was. My headache increased at the sound, still severely hungover. "Shhh! You're way too loud." I whispered. I groaned while massaging my temple. "Oops, sorry love. I brought you aspirin and water. I know you get bad headaches after drinking." Cobie whispered, walking over to my side of the bed. She sat in front of me, handing me the medicine and water. I placed the pill in my mouth and drank the water. "Thank you." I smiled as Cobie placed a small kiss on my forehead. Our hands intertwined. The feeling of her warmth so comforting. "I love you Y/n." My sweet girlfriend said. This moment could not have been more perfect. "I love you too, Cobie."
