On the way to the gym, the siblings met up with Deez, (if i hear a singular deez nuts joke, i will cry) (edit; you're all so mean 😭) Ice and Big deal, they all wore different shades of blue. Annie wore a knee length dress with lacey flowers and had some blue converse. Her hair was in space buns with the bangs out straight.
Once they made it to the gym, it was still a bit early, so they didn't expect to see many people in there, but all the Jets were there with their dates, Annie saw Grazie with her friends, when she spotted them, she ran over and into Riff's arms, the others going to find their dates,
"Ari, you look beautiful hun!" she said looking at her dress,
"thanks Graz, you look stunning too!" Annie smiled back at her, Diesel soon came back over with Mary, his date,
"Annie, we found someone!" he teased,
"Who?" she obliviously asked, he moved out the way to see a clueless John just walking around staring at the ceiling. Annie quickly hit Deez's shoulder and ran towards John.
He turned around at the right time to see her and caught me as she jumped to him. he spun he spun around before putting her down to look at her outfit. He was wearing a checked shirt, with a blue jacket, grey jeans and fancy brown shoes,
"You look beautiful!" he smiled,
"you look handsome yourself, good sir." she looked behind him to see everyone dancing,
"Wanna dance?" he asked, sticking his hand out for her to take,
"Certainly!" she replied.
He pulled her into the crowd and were next to Riff and Grazie dancing to the song, that was playing.
Soon the Puerto Ricans flooded in. Their shades of red and orange mixing with the blues.
Annie and John just smiled at each other at they danced. He spun me around making her accidentally kick Anybodys, she muttered a sorry before dancing again.
As the Puerto Ricans started blending into the dance, Bernardo and his Wife took the middle and started dancing, making the two gangs split and go to their separate sides and it was going well for all of two seconds when Riff and Bernardo hit each other's backs causing a fight.
Baby John held onto Annie's hand, Krupke pushed his way through everyone blowing his whistle, Annie pulled Baby John over Riff, to stay close.
"EVERYONE, contain the aggression, okay?" the judge shouted,
"What's the matter with you guys, pretty girls, wanting to dance and all youse can think of is, to beat up on eachother!" Krupke shouted, Riff then moved closer to diesel, mocking Krupke, making them all laugh before he got pushed back my Krupke, into Annie, who shoved him back making him trip and nearly fall, making her laugh even more, "Ariane, stop!" Krupke told the girl, making her straighten her back in annoyance, Baby John pulled her back into his chest so she could lean on him, his arm over her shoulder.
