ANNIE ARE YOU OKAY?

Bernardo's plan failing miserably, he stabbed the wrong sibling, she let her arm fall as she used him to catch herself from falling.

The Jets saw Bernardo Step back, without a knife in his hand, all their eyes brimming with tears, knowing what just happened

Annie slowly turned, salty tears running down her face, Riff stepped forward to her,

"Hey dude." she giggled,

"annie are you okay?" he softly asked, as she was about to respond, her legs gave way, causing her to fall.

John was quick to move forward and catch her,

"Oh, hey Jay, are you okay?" she asked him, trying to not think about her shortening breath,

"Annie are you okay?" he also asked her, Riff kneeled on the other side of her,

"Hey Riff, I never told you but remember when you lost your Necklace, well I actually stole it." She told him going to move down her collar and show him, but he just pushed her hand down,

"Just stay still. And don't take your eyes off Baby John." He told her tears also running down his cheek, she barely nodded and moved her gaze to her crying boyfriend.

Riff stood up, with his knife in hand, but Tony was quicker and took the knife out of Riff's hand and jamming it into Bernardo's heart.

This caused the Sharks to get angry and start attacking, they stayed clear of Annie and John, her eyes started getting heavy,

"Annie, no, do not take your pretty little eyes off me!" he told her, his tears dripping onto her shirt,

"What's wrong handsome?" she asked him.

Suddenly the adrenaline had worn off causing her to realise that she had actually been stabbed, she looked down to see a knife poking out of her stomach, a bloody patch on the shirt, John moved her head so she looked at him instead of her wound. She started sobbing,

"I'm going to die aren't i?" she asked him, he placed a soft kiss to her forehead,

"Not if I can help it!" he said, she started fully sobbing at one point she moved a little and the knife moved further in her, causing her to scream out in pain, John comforted her before the sound of police sirens were heard from afar approaching the salt shed.

All the Jets ran back over to Annie. Tony, Riff and Diesel crouched over her shaking body,

"I'm so sorry Little Annie, I never meant for this to happen!" Riff Cried,

"it's okay brother. Now get out of here before the cops catch you! I'd rather you leave me than you go to jail." She told them,

"Thank you, Riff, for being my big brother and looking out for me." She told him between breaths,

"Thank you, Tony, for keeping us alive and feeding us." He smiled at her trying to stay positive,

"Thank you, Deez, for teaching me the ways of being a badass and looking out for me when Riff wasn't around." He chuckled and sadly chewed on his stick,

"Thank you, Jay, for being my number one and for all the love you gave me. Find another girl and name your first little girl after me, but I will haunt the girl if she hurts you." She told her boyfriend weakly putting a hand up to his cheek,

"And Jets, thank you for looking after me, thank you for keeping me safe, if i find out that you blame yourself for this, I'm going to haunt you FOREVER!" she shouted, making them all chuckle in pity,

"Now get out of here. I don't wanna see any of your ugly faces for ages. But in reality, you can never kill me!" she said, Riff and her shared a glance before the sirens were so close now, they could see the lights,

"Stay strong my Annie, I will love you forever!" Baby John sobbed, she barely nodded smiling,

"Forever." She repeated.

They all walked around her, jumping the fence.

As the last voice was heard, the big doors opened again, she turned her head to see Bernardo laying on the ground, no signs of life from him.

She said her goodbyes and decided to stop fighting, but Krupke and Schrank ran to her side, the flashlights of other cops on her,

"Ariane!" Krupke shouted,

"Someone, get an ambulance, She's still alive!" Schrank screamed at them,

"Arianne, do not close your eyes!" Krupke instructed her, but it was too late, she let the blackness consume her, she let it take her somewhere.

Back with all the Jets they ran for about 30 minutes before all meeting in Doc's all spread out across the shop.

Tony was downstairs with Valentina packing for María to arrive.

Even Grazie and Velma decided to show up and 'care' for them, but they just wanted to know what actually happened,

"Does Tony know I'm here?" Grazie spoke up,

"He cared about me onc-" she got cut off by Ice,

"Tony is fine! But he's mourning Annie, if you cared to notice isn't even here!" he shouted at her.

"The way we just left her laying there, her innocent eyes staring at us. that's bothering me!" Diesel spoke from on top of the pin ball machine he had obviously been crying, with all the cracks in his voice and puffy eyes.

Riff was laying on the floor, because she always said it helped her calm down and it was comfier, Baby John was on the stool next to him, both of them numb from crying

"It bothers me too Deez." Ice replied,

"It's hard not seeing her lying on the floor like she always did, but now all i can imagine is her with the knife." Mouthpiece said,

"What d'ya think im down here for." Riff spoke up after all the silence,

"I miss her already." Baby John spoke quietly, they all looked to him, he hadn't said anything since they left her,

"Her last words-" A-Rab started before getting cut off by Diesel,

"She's not dead! She promised she would stay fighting for us." Riff sat up from the floor,

"She would never keep that, she was on the edge and as soon as we left her lying there was her que to leave the world, I bet you she's sat over there next to Baby John right now!" he shouted trying not to get their hopes up,
"I know Annie, I've known her, her whole life, she's hated every breathing part of it. I've been horrible to her, and I pushed her into the knife. I KILLED MY OWN SISTER! If I had just listened to her and not tipped her over the edge, it would have been ME instead of her, my beautiful sister!" Riff spoke loudly breaking down again. They all went back to silence.

i am so sorry this one is short my lovelies, but i am so tired and i want to sleep, so i finished this little bit, sorry if it seems rushed. but i promised the next chapter tonight, and i didn't want to leave you guys hanging, i might redo this one tomorrow when i'm not on the edge of falling asleep.
