WE LOVE YOU ANNIE

In the morning, Annie woke up to Baby John gone out of their bed.

Worried she immediately shot up and ran into the kitchen to see him sat at the table reading a book,

"morning Jay." she said yawning,

"good morning dearest!" he smiled looking at her, he had different clothes on to the ones he had last night,
"I woke up early and went home to get dressed and to see ma, but it's 1pm, so I figured you would wake up soon, so I made you cereal!" he beamed,
"also Riff left you a note on the fridge, I didn't read it." He said walking over to kiss her forehead, She smiled at his gesture, as he sat back down to read his book.

Annie walked over to the refrigerator and took off the piece of paper, unfolding it,

annie,

I am up and out before you, stay with Baby John today, make sure you eat and find the other Jets. i'm sure Diesel will be around for you to pester im with, Tiger, Ice, Numbers and Action so dont worry about us. please be careful and ill see you later. i love you,

RIFF

She put the paper back on the fridge and sat at the table eating her cereal while Baby John told her about his book. When she finished, she went and got ready.

She put on some big black jeans, a baby blue button up with a white vest underneath with the top opened, before doing her makeup and brushed out her hair. she started at her black eye in the mirror for a bit before decided she didn't want to cover it up and that she thought it looked cool.

Just as she finished there was a knock on the door. Annie thought it was one of the jets, but no.
it was an officer,

"where's your brother?" he grabbed her arm,

"he's not in today, I don't know where, now let go of me!" she shouted the last bit, Baby John came out from her room, where he was putting his shoes on,

"ah, baby john too! Perfect, we need you two at the station." he said pulling them out the door, Annie tried wriggling out his grasp, but he only held on tighter,

"Why sir?" Baby John asked,

"we need to know where the rumble is!" he said, shoving them in the car, Annie looked at Baby John with fear in her eyes.

Once they got to the station Baby John was pulled out first, and taken inside, but Annie refused to leave the car,

"Ma'am, we need you to get out the car!" the same officer from before said,

"no, I ain't telling you anything!" she shouted to him, he quickly pulled her out the car, she recognised his face, Officer Higgins, who she knew from other times, Highins threw her over his shoulder, and carried her up the stairs, whilst she just lay there annoyed.

Once they reached the top he opened the main door, Annie saw A-Rab, John, Diesel, Big Deal, Mouthpiece, Snow and Balkan, Mouthpiece and Balkan already being interviewed, Krupke was sat at his desk, and immediately ran down,

"PUT HER DOWN!" Krupke shouted at the officer, he put her down and she just sat on the floor, Diesel walked to her and crouched to her height, she immediately pulled him into a hug,

"you're okay!" he hushed her, Diesel was like another brother to Annie, She would never tell Riff but he always looked after her when Riff didn't.

Annie thanked him and they stood up. She walked over to Baby John and squeezed his hand.
She then went and sat on the 'ladies bench' next to a tall woman who was painting her nails, deciding to lie down and look at the ceiling while she waited.
