Y/N'S POV:
July 3rd, 1982 4:13pm

"ah yes finally we're here!" your dad said facing towards you with a fake smile since you didn't talk at all, just cried and looked out the window but you couldn't ignore the beautiful weather outside i mean it was a nice july day not to hot but not to cold "anyway I'm going to help you move some stuff in to your room" he said to you as he got up and went to the back of his truck and got 2 big boxes.

the house was nice actually not big but bigger then your old house the place had 2 story's and a small basement so you decided to look around you found out that there was 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, both bathrooms were connected to each of the two rooms. sweet your own bathroom the room you decided to have was nice, a big ish window that was on the opposite side of the entry and on a difference side of the wall was a other door leading to the bathroom

"found your room huh?" as your dad walked in you jumped and turned around to him and setting down a box you brought in "yeah I did" you said to him with a fake smile "well that's good! the moving truck is here so they will bring up your bed and dresser and stuff like that but anyway we have been invited to dinner from a friend of mine he's my boss actually, um very very nice family! the aftons! the mom is a great cook! we will leave around 6..? "oh um sure and by family do you mean that they have any kids?" you said slowly tilting your head

"yeah! 3 kids! one is 6 his name is evan and a girl who is 8 she is elizabeth-" 6 and 8 huh? i mean you were kinda wishing for someone your age "- and michael! he's your age actually, 14! and you will be going to the same school as him! so maybe you will be able to talk and get to know him" you dad said with a grin and nudged you " become his 'friend' " you got all flustered "dad! come on! not now im not in the mood." you said "im just joking with you sweetie"

after all of your stuff was in your room you just had to unpack but you decided to do that stuff tomorrow and got ready to go to the aftons you decided to wear baggy jeans and a tennis shirt with a sweater vest over it and did your hair and makeup but not to much makeup just some lipgloss and mascara but you couldn't stop thinking about that michael dude i mean it would be nice to be his friend so you wouldn't be bored all summer and would have some what of a friend in high school but honestly you were scared about high school but kaitlyn said it's not that bad it's fun it's just the work that can be hard sometimes well that what she said..

"Y/N!! TIME TO GO ITS 5:43PM" shit. maybe you didn't want to go "OKAY COMING!" as you yelled back to your dad who was downstairs after you got downstairs and got into the car your dad said "there house is just down the street and don't forgot about saying please and thank you and using your manners-" bla bla bla bla "- and try to talk to the kids and even michael to." "alright I'll try." as you turned to face the window

soon before you knew it you and your dad pulled up to the drive way of the aftons house, it was a nice house actually even tho it look like it was still in the late 60s

MICHAEL'S POV
July 3rd, 1982 5:32pm

"Michael, honey the L/NS will be here soon.. you almost ready?" as your mother (mrs afton) walked the room "uh yeah..just give me like 5 minutes." you said and ruffled your hair trying to style your hair " okay, also try to be nice to Y/N... her dad said she's a sweetheart."

sweetheart, huh? it will be interesting getting to know her.

i decided to wear a black/grey ish t-shirt with blue/grey jeans with a ripped hole on one of my knees, a silver chain and my black leather wristbands

i look over to my alarm clock 5:44 pm. hm they should be here soon.
