Albus Dumbledore: to show the death of a great leader can't stop a war
Hedwig: the end of Harry's childhood.
Mad eye: show the death of a solider
Dobby: even the smallest of creatures can die a heroes death.
Fred Weasley: to show that some death you can't just get over. And that's okay.
Tonks and Remus: to reestablish the orphans of war
Colin Creavy: to show that the good die young. Even if they aren't supposed to.
Voldemort: to show that no one can conquer death.
