A Minute After The Last Chapter...

[Asher leans against the wall of a boarded-up building facing towards the street. He's got a cigarette in his mouth and both arms crossed in front of him. His backpack is still on his back between him and the wall, he seems to be keeping a close eye on it. Asher takes a puff from his cigarette and blows the smoke in the air above him. Asher grabs the lit cigarette and holds it in between his fingers. He looks towards the street and the sidewalk across from him.]

Asher: (In Head) Alrighty then! I got the clothes I needed, which checks off the second thing from my list. I already made the weapon deal with that Tall Demon and his gang. Now all I need is the parts for the truck... I already almost got myself killed twice today, once when I was cleaning the ceiling at Jerry's, and again at Pim's... Now I just need to find a place to get some parts for the truck without almost dying again. I think I can manage that...

[Asher takes another puff from his cigarette and blows the smoke into the air. He raises his eyebrow and tilts his head a bit.]

Asher: (In Head) Right?

[He shakes his head and takes another puff of his cigarette.]

Asher: (In Head) Nah, probably not.

[Asher tosses his cigarette onto the sidewalk and steps on it, smothering the remaining cinders. He then smiles and laughs to himself.]

Asher: *Laughing* (In Head) But hey! Silver lining! I got a free radio out of today! *Chuckles*

[Asher chuckles to himself once more and shakes his head.]

Asher: *Chuckles* Alright... Let's go find a place that sells car parts...

[Asher places his hand into his pants pockets and begins walking down the sidewalk. He keeps his gaze fixed straight ahead down the sidewalk. Demons pass by him minding their own business. He seems to blend in well with his new outfit change. Before he'd get looks as some passed by, now nobody bats an eye at him as he walks down the street. Asher seems to take notice of this, he glances down at his vest and dusts it off.]

Asher: (In Head) Huh... Maybe getting new clothes was a better idea than I first thought. I'm not getting as many looks as I did before which means that my chances of getting spotted by Jockey and his lackeys are lower, and it gave me the confidence boost I needed! I think that's the first time I profited twice without losing a damn thing! (Pause) And I got a free radio!

[Asher looks to his left and right at the storefronts beside him. He seems to be looking for any place in the city that sells car parts or accessories.]

Asher: (In Head) Hmm... No sign of any place that sells car parts... Maybe nobody sells that kind of stuff around here... Maybe I'm in the wrong part of the city... Hmm... Where did Jerry say this client was again? The Westside of Pentagram City, right? I guess there's a difference in stores and mood depending on what side of the city you are on. Hmm... I wonder what that difference is. I have a good feeling it's something major... *Chuckles* Maybe I should ask Jerry later...

???: SSSSSSHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT!!!

[Asher's shoulders jump up and his eyes widen a bit. He turns around towards the source of the yelling. The noise has also gathered the attention of the other demons on the sidewalk and around Asher. The source of the screaming seems to be coming from a pickup truck going incredibly fast down the road in the same direction Asher is walking. The pickup truck in question is being driven by a random demon and seems to have a bunch of wooden crates in the back of it. It also seems to be on fire... And... And, being attacked by a large murder of crows, about twenty to be precise. All the crows are pecking at the truck and seem to be attempting to get inside. The pickup truck drives past Asher and the other demons on the sidewalk at incredible speeds. Asher and all of the other Demons observing the scene watch the pickup truck fly by and take a sharp right turn down a different street. Everyone watches in silence for a second before shrugging and going back to whatever they were doing. Asher looks around the street for a second before shrugging to himself.]
