Chapter 10: Fight Club: Part 3

*Ding*

[A loud ding comes from a bell near the commenter booth where Bradley and Bentley are.]

Bradley/Bentley: (Through Speakers) AND WE'RE OFF!!!/And we're off!

[Within a second of the bell ding, both Jerry and Croc make their way to each other in the center of the ring with their fists up ready to fight.]

Asher: (In Head) Oh boy!

[Croc reals his right arm back and throws a right hook forward at Jerry. So he can dodge the attack Jerry rolls by bending his knees while keeping his eyes on Croc. He then throws a cross punch right into Croc's face.]

Bradley: (Through Speakers) AND THE FIRST HIT GOES TO WARNER!!!

[Bradley yells into the microphone. Everyone in the crowd starts cheating and yelling.]

Asher: (In Head) Huh... Didn't expect that...

[Jerry pulls back after successfully landing a blow on Croc. Croc, now recovered, throws multiple punches at Jerry who just slips and rolls all of his attacks.

Asher: (In Head) What is this? A boxing match? Wrestling? Or are they just beating the shit out of each other like Bradley said?

[After a few missed attacks from Croc, Jerry throws one of his own punches at Croc. But instead of dodging the attacks like Jerry, he just blocks them with his hands and arms. Jerry continues to punch at Croc to no avail, most of his attacks seem to be coming from his right arm as he seems to be less aggressive with his left. Possibly seeing an opening, Croc throws another hook at Jerry. But Jerry barely manages to slip the attack. Croc sends more punches at Jerry who either slips them, rolls them, or slightly blocks them with his right arm.]

Asher: (In Head) It looks like Jerry is more focused on dodging attacks than blocking while Croc is the exact opposite. He's pretty good at dodging those attacks too. He's tall and quick, making it easy for him. But Croc's too big to dodge most of his attacks, so he just blocks anything that comes towards him with his fists. The two news anchors said they're both rivals and that Jerry dethroned Croc years ago... So I take it that these two have fought each other enough to know exactly how to beat each other.

[The two continue to throw punch after punch at each other, the attacks either miss or are blocked. Jerry is able to land a heavy blow on Croc's chest with his right fist which causes Croc to bend down a tiny bit. In an attempt to land another attack, he throws a jab with his left hand. But he was too slow as Croc is able to block the attack with his arm. Jerry quickly pulls his left arm back. Even though he didn't get hit, he seems to be in a lot of pain. Still watching the fight, Asher grabs his cigarette and takes a puff from it. He blows some smoke out above him and stares into the smoke cloud.]

Asher: (In Head) His fist might not be broken but if his arm is then that's gotta hurt like hell. And the news anchors said he won the first round... Can't believe he managed to pull that off with his condition.

Bradley: (Through Speakers) WOAH! WHAT'S THIS!?

Asher: (In Head) Huh?

[Asher turns his attention back towards the ring.]

Asher: (In Head) Holy, fucking, shit.

[Somehow, and for some reason, Jerry is holding Croc by the neck with his right hand and has his left hand on his side. He then somehow manages to lift Croc up about a foot off the ground and chokeslams him onto the ground. Which appears to be dirtied concrete. The crowd cheers out insanely. Asher closes his eyes a bit in a reaction to the noise. Bentley speaks through his microphone.]
