𝕋𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕟𝕖𝕖𝕕 𝕥𝕠 𝕜𝕟𝕠𝕨 𝕓𝕖𝕗𝕠𝕣𝕖 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕕:

This is my first time writing and publishing a story of mine online, so you can probably imagine how nervous I am about how this little piece of mine will turn out! I really do hope people will enjoy my writing and the story itself and if that does happen one day, it will bring me great joy!

So thank you so much if you're reading this Squid Game fanfic, I really do appreciate it. And with that, let's first get some things straightened out to avoid any confusion when reading to make your reading experience here as comfortable as possible.

𝑼𝒑𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔

o The days where chapters will be uploaded or rather the set schedule of when these things will happen are things I haven't really planned about. I'll just type chapters whenever I feel like doing so, which means that there will be a high chance that I haven't uploaded anything for a long time

o I do apologise for this since there are so many things going on in my life, but I'll try to at least upload a chapter once a week if motivation will stay by my side long enough

𝑺𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈

o The story takes place on Seongapdo/ Jeju Island, the same place where Squid Game was filmed and played and belongs in the same universe as the survival show

o Most of the story will be about the events that happened inside the underground building and what the guards and main characters are doing behind each game

o Everything there is connected through hallways and narrow passages, not many things are going on out outside the building

𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔!

o My favourite part of writing stories! The main characters that will be mentioned in the story are Superior Spades and Junior Bear, who are personally created Squid Game Ocs of mine

o Their names may sound weird and strange, but there will be a time somewhere along the story where their actual names will be revealed!

𝑺𝒚𝒎𝒃𝒐𝒍𝒔

o Symbols used include this unique pattern I use to represent a text break {-🔲 △ ◯ -}

o These two symbols will always appear at the end of each chapter in a constant pattern, 

{♠, ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ}

𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒃𝒆 𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆?

o There will be a few humorous romantic scenes that will happen between the two, but no, this fanfic isn't focused on romance but rather the build-up to their unlikely friendship

o This story is considered as a bromance though, in a light-hearted way!

o And yes! I'll definitely make sure to upload some art of Spades and Bear if the time feels right

o There might be some words that may seem to be spelled wrong (eg. Apologise to apologize) but that's because I follow the British English spelling and not the American. You can search it up for yourself!
