A/N: Finally! We're near the end of the campus lockdown!
LORELEI
THE THREAT of the coup was finally over and everything went back to normal. Thank goodness! We didn't have to endure the makeshift bed out of chairs and the bowls of porridge every mealtime. We could go back to our temporary rooms in the White Hostel and eat whatever the student council was serving to the students.
It's the sixth day of the campus lockdown. Every member and volunteer gathered there and waited for the arrival of our chairwoman. The announcement must be so important dahil agad kaming pinag-convene.
"Thank you for coming this early, everyone!" Margarette greeted as she entered the room.
"First, we received an order from the school administration that we will be cutting down our lockdown period from two weeks to one week only. This is an order from the city government."
"Yes!" Almost everyone in the room cheered. Ako nama'y napabuntonghininga at sandaling napapikit. I had fun serving the student body, but it's too tiring to do it every day and in our waking hours.
We will be compressing them today until tomorrow."
We will hold it tomorrow evening to give everyone the time to prepare.
How about me? Well, I wasn't really looking forward to it. But I'd support any activity that would boost the students' morale and keep everyone engaged. Dahil member ako ng execom, wala akong choice kundi mag-attend dahil kailangan naming tumulong sa preparation.
