Chapter 12

NATALIA'S POV

Nakabalik na kami sa kwarto. He's at the balcony, sitting.

"I'm taking a shower first" I grab my clothes and went to the bathroom. I sigh. Tatlong araw lang naman toh, kaya ko tong tiisin. I hope Ferrontia still blooms in Paroxa Forest. I can't let them down. If this works, then it would be a great help for the Empress. 

After I finished bathing, sinuot ko agad ang night gown. I wrap the towel around my head and went out of the bathroom. I froze went I saw him standing infront of the door.

"You done?" he ask

"Y-yeah" 

He raise his eyebrows, "Then out of my way" sabi niya sabay tulak sa'kin sa gilid at pumasok sa banyo. This himbo! Argh! He's totally the opposite of the Empress! Umupo ako sa sofa at ibinuka ang palad ko. A red magic circle appeared and two fireballs each side of my head appeared. This would fasten drying my hair and won't feel cold at all. Tumayo ako at kinuha ang bag. Nakasunod pa din ang apoy sa'kin. Kinuha ko ang journal. I look for the ferrontia I drew. It has all the information I know about the flower. I almost died getting this flower before and turned out it was useless for making the shaveto poison. May trial and error naman talaga kapag magsisimula ka. Kung hindi pa ako nakabunta sa gubat na yun. Mahirap ang paghahanap namin. Paroxa forest is known for its beautiful and attractive poisonous plants. Kung maloloko ka sa mukha, yari ka.

I noticed my hair dried up. I remove the fireball and put back the journal in the bag. I walk to the balcony. Ang lamig ng hangin. 

"Nat?" napalingon akosa kanan at nakita si Glenn na nakangiti.

"Glenn" I chuckled.

"It's cold out here. Baka magkasakit ka" alala niya.

"I'm fine, Glenn. I'm used to this. I've been through a lot of journey" tawang sabi ko. 

"Where's your lover? Is he asleep already?" he ask. "No, he's taking a shower" I replied. 

"Are you also going for the festival?" tanong niya. The Ai Festival, the day where we also enter the Paroxa forest. The festival is famous for the couple since its called love festival and other ladies and men came hoping for a chance to found a partner.

"Unfortunately no. I have a mission coming from the Emperor" sabi ko na ikinagulat niya. I'm not allowed to tell him mission because of the agreement coming from His Majesty.

"Nagtratrabaho ka na sa Imperial Palace?" I nod. "Since when?" he ask. "Few days ago" I replied. 

"Must be hard, huh. But I'm sure you can do it," he said.

"Thank you, Glenn" I thought Joaquin is just like Glenn. But I was wrong, both of them are totally different.  

"I hope you can still go to the festival kung maagang matapos ang mission niyo. Saktong-sakto lalo na't may kasintahan ka" sabi niya na ikinangiwi ko.

"May problema ba, Nat?" 

"Ahaha wala. S-sayang nga eh" sabi ko at pilit na tumawa. 

"Who are you talking to?" I froze when I saw him entering the balcony half-naked. He look at Glenn and notice him smirk.

"Wha- magsuot ka nga ng damit!" tinulak ko siya papasok at sinaaman siya ng tingin. 

"Stay here" seryosong sabi ko at bumalik sa balcony.

"Ah... Glenn. Matutulog na ako. Inaantok na ako eh haha. Good night" magsasalita pa sana siya pero agad kong isinara ang glass door. 

"What the f*ck are you doing?! Baka kung ano pang isipin niya!" galit kong sigaw.
