chan looked around the university, trying to find everyone, but to his loss, he couldn't even find one of them. he started to panic, knowing he must have done something stupid, because when he checked his direct messages, he realized he left the group chat, so there's no way of knowing unless he asks one of the boys.

once he gave up looking for them in the building, he walked around campus, looking through the windows to see if any of them were in the small cafés. chan immediately spotted joshua and jeonghan, hunched over in a table booth, as if they were trying to hide. he entered the shop, the bells above him ringing, and both seniors glanced at him. dread instantly took over them as chan inching closer.

"hi, hyungs," chan said in a rather cute voice, clearly fabricating it. he slid into the red booth, making sure jeonghan couldn't make a run for it. "i have a question to ask."

they both looked at each other in worry, probably talking with their eyes. in the end, both of them masked away the stress and looked at chan confidentally, and he wasn't going to lie, it was pretty impressive. "sure, channie. what's up?" jeonghan said smoothly.

"well, i woke up this morning and realized i got wasted last night. i also noticed i couldn't check my messages because i wasn't in the group chat. lastly, there were thousands of texts which were sent by dokyeom hyung asking if it was "true" and making sure i was okay," chan watched their expressions carefully. "can you please tell me the truth?"

once again, jeonghan and joshua shared a look. joshua sighed, "chan... we don't really know how to tell you."

"we'd rather do this when we're all together," jeonghan finished for joshua.

"but, why can't you just tell me now?" chan was getting curious, and slightly anxious. is it that bad?

jeonghan shook his head with a smile, "because, it involves all of us to be there."

joshua could probably sense the uneasiness from chan, because he reached out and pinched his cheek affectionately. "don't worry about it, okay? we aren't mad and you didn't do anything wrong."

chan wanted to melt from joshua's gentle tone and touch, so he moved away, laughing nervously. okay, that was too fucking obvious, chan. get a hold of yourself! "fine, but because you're hiding something from me, you guys have to buy me cake."

jeonghan rolled his eyes, "you're lucky you're cute."

chan couldn't handle the unusual amount of flirting... it was weird.
