Chapter 4: Gear up!

Third Person POV
October 24, 2005

Y/N had just gotten a message from Takemichi, saying "it's go time"

She called him because she had no idea what "go time" meant

After a while, she learnt about the founding 6 members of toman, the death of Shinichiro Sano, why Kazutora wants Mikey dead, and why Baji 'betrayed' toman

The fight is going to happen on October 31

Y/N would have to make a plan on what to do

But then a thought came into her mind

"If I'm going to keep my identity a secret, I need an outfit..." thought Y/N

She got up from her bed and opened her side draw, pulling out a notebook and pen

She then wrote down a list of items

• Motorcycle Helmet (Blue with Black tinted glass)
• Bulletproof vest
• Elbow & Knee Pads
• Large loose blue sweater
• Brianna Bubble Pants
• Motorcycle gloves
• Black Boots

Y/N wants to help Takemichi but she isn't just going to risk her life like that

When wearing the outfit only the helmet, sweater, pants, gloves, and boots can be seen

The knee & elbow pads provide safety, so does the bulletproof vest

And the helmet can also be for safety usage too

"Should I also hide my gender?" I thought

The loose sweater would already cover my body, and they won't be able to see my face

Is there a possible reason to hide it?.... I don't know, let's just do it

I grabbed out my phone and texted my grandma to buy some of the motorcycle gear & the vest

I don't think they'll let a 16-year-old buy those things

And, I'll just get the rest by myself!

Time Skip: At Shopping Mall

I finished buying the sweater and pants, now I just need to find the boots

I put my jacket in the bag, on top with the sweater and pants in it

Just in case anyone in runs into anyone

"God why did I inherit my dad's paranoia," I think

Just then I see a similar face in the distance

"Oh! Takemichi!" I yell out towards the badly blonde head

"Heh? Y/N?!" He said

I run towards him and give him a hard slap on the back

"What are you doing here?" I ask

"I'm here shopping with my girlfriend, but she took off with her friend," said Takemichi

"That explains why you're holding so many bags," I said

"Yeah...but, what are you doing here for?" Said Takemichi

I lean in closely and whisper in his ear

"I'm buying an outfit to keep my identity hidden when I work with you" I whisper and lean back out

"Oohhhhhh!" Said Takemichi
