Dr. Zhan when saw Yuan getting calm just took the boy in his embrace. Yuan when found himself in the warm embrace of the doctor just hugged the doctor back. Dr. Zhan when felt the child hugging him back just smiled as he speaks in a sweet voice,
"Little one, what happened? Why are you crying, my boy!" And with this doctor just tries to loosen the hug so that he could check at the child whether the boy is fine or not but to his amazement the doctor find the arms around him tightening which makes zhan surprised as he didn't expect such a reaction from the child in his arms. He knew the child has been frightened by all the proceedings of the room but the child will be this much scared he didn't expect that so he in a sweet voice spoke,
"I got it little one, you don't want me to leave" and with this, he takes the child in his lap and starts rocking the boy while whispering sweet words to the boy. As he is rocking the child too and fro he finds that the arms which are embracing him are getting loosened which is making him realize that the boy is sleeping.
Dr. Zhan just smiled at this realization and continued rocking the boy and after a few minutes, he found the boy had completely loosened his embrace so the doc just looked down to find the boy sleeping peacefully which bought a smile to the doc's face.
Dr. Zhan just put the boy to rest and after making sure that the boy is comfortable plants a kiss on his forehead as he speaks, "No one gonna hurt you little one" "You are my strong boy"
With this, the doctor turns around to see everyone looking at him with a shocked expression.
The people in the room were dumbfounded by the scene that had played in front of them. As this is for the first time, Yuan has allowed anyone other than Mr. Wang Yibo to touch him. The boy who had always got irritated and lashed out at everyone by crying and landing into panic attacks that the people who treated him always left the job.
But today the boy did allow other than Mr. Wang to touch him which made everyone shocked and he also slept within the doctor's arms. The team of doctors is looking dumbfounded with mouth open at zhan whereas, XuMa the nanny is looking with a sweet smile and relief at the doctor.
Dr. Zhan when turned around and saw the scene wanted to laugh because this is for the first time he has seen his head of the department so shocked that he has an itch to tease him as he had always been a fun-loving person but then suddenly it clicked that he is here for his little one.
Dr. Zhan on realizing this just releases a deep breath as he speaks, "May I know who is with this child?"
The question made everyone come out of their thoughts as the nanny speaks, "Me, doctor"
