The next morning, I woke up early to get dressed. I decided on casual clothes, because I was only going to the Cullens. And there wasn't any point in dressing up, as they would look better in garbage bags than me in my best outfit.

I changed the bandages on my arm as well, noticing it didn't hurt as much today.

As I waited for Alice, I tried to relax, but the thought of seeing Carlisle again scared me. It had only been a day since I last saw him, but I already wished to be near him again. I knew it was probably just a silly little crush on my part, but I couldn't help but think it was more.

It certainly felt like more and that was what terrified me. I heard a car outside and I knew it had to be Alice. No one else really came over to visit. I stood up slowly and went by the mirror to make sure I looked okay.

I'm sure Alice didn't mind how I looked, but then again, it wasn't Alice I was worried about. I walked outside to her car and climbed in.

"Hey." I said happily, already feeling better now that I was around one of the Cullens. I felt a strange pull towards them for some reason. I didn't understand it.

She smiled at me. "You look pretty." She remarked, and I blushed. "Not as pretty as you." I said to her. I knew that I couldn't possibly compete with Alice or any of the Cullens beauty. They were so beautiful, it was sort of intimidating.

Alice laughed. "That's not what- never mind." She stopped, and I glared at her playfully. "You can't just say something like that and then stop, Alice!" I said, laughing with her. She smirked and started the car.

"I heard about your arm. You Swan's sure are clumsy." Alive said and I smiled. "I think it's a family trait." I told her and then glanced over at the speedometer. I was surprised to see we were going 100 miles per hour. "Whoa. Slow down Dominic Toretto." I joked and she laughed.

"I saw that movie. It was pretty good." She remarked and I grinned at her.

"Why, are you scared of the high speeds?" She asked me and I smirked. "Well, my father is the chief so I should be encouraging you to follow safe traffic laws... but this is pretty fun." I said laughing.

Alice laughed again. We reached the Cullen house in record time. It was absolutely gorgeous. I was surprised by how light and open the house looked. I was expecting something different, something more vampire-y, according to Bella.

"Wow. Your house is so beautiful." I told her as I climbed out of the car. I walked towards the door nervously.

Alice ran up to the door and it suddenly swung open. And Carlisle Cullen was behind it. I tried to keep my calm, but my thoughts were instantly in a frenzy.

Strangely enough, he didn't look too surprised to see me. He glanced down at my arm then back at me. "And this is taking it easy?" He asked me.

"Well, Alice is very persuasive." I told him and he grinned. I grinned back, and then remembered Alice was there. I had a feeling my face was very red at the moment.

Alice smirked at me. "I was just going to show Addy around." She told Carlisle, then drifted past him. I smiled and followed her inside. She was so graceful as she skipped around the house whereas I awkwardly shuffled behind her.

"So this is the den. It's where we all lounge." She said casually and I glanced around at the expensive looking sofas and chairs.

I laughed. "Somehow I can't picture your family lounging." I told her. Alice smiled at me, but seemed surprised by something. "You're very perceptive." She noted and I followed her up the stairs.

She showed me to her room, which was expertly decorated. I noticed that it wasn't just her room as I looked around. There were men's clothes in the closet too.
