The Pied Piper taught muse-ic class. Of course, rats were associated with his story, so there were some instances where rats would appear on a poorly played note.

"Excuse me, Professor Piper? Can you show us that melody again?" Kitty asked.

"Oh, of course, my dear," Professor Piper said happily.

"Kitty, you know what happens when-"

Professor Piper cut Raven off by playing a note off-key. Rats came from the ceiling, landing on him.

"Oh, rats. I forgot," Kitty joked before disappearing.

"Raven Queen, please report to Baba Yaga's office."

"Me?"

"Yes, you."

"See you, Rav," I mumbled.

She nodded to me before getting up from her seat.

I ran to my dorm room without taking a second look back. Jonas was trying to talk to me, and I was getting glares from the back and front. I closed the door and sighed when I looked down and noticed I only had one slipper.

A knock came from my door. I assumed it must've been Apple or Briar, so I opened it.

"Hey, (Y/n). You dropped your shoe, and I thought I might return it to you since I was the one who made you run," Jonas said, frowning.

I blushed. "T-thank you, Jonas. Uh, do you need me to do anything?"

"No. A prince doesn't need his princess doing anything when it is just a gesture." Jonas took my hand, kissing it. "See you later."

I shut the door after Jonas walked away. My cheeks were as red as a rose. I almost fainted from shock.

Did he just say his princess?

Sneaking out of our dorms with my friends to get a midnight snack was the last thing I expected to be doing.

"Girls, come on!"

"Ash, you're going to get us caught."

"Slow down, Apple!"

"Whisper!"

I accidentally took a detour and bumped into—what I thought was—a wall. I quickly realized it wasn't when I felt soft cotton.

"Slow down, (Y/n)," Jonas cautioned, my blush growing bigger as I stepped back to face him. He was wearing a blue t-shirt with yellow sweatpants.

"Yeah, sure. Sorry," I apologized, staring at the ground.

"You look pretty in the moonlight," Jonas mumbled.

I let out a small squeak in surprise, making him chuckle. "See you later, (Y/n)."

"See you later, Jonas," I said before rushing off to find my sister.

I sat next to Ashlynn and Farrah as I faced the stage in the Charmitorium. I was anxious as I looked between Apple White, the perfect student soon to be queen, and Madeline Hatter, the literally mad student following the destiny of the Mad Hatter.

"So here we go, fellow fairy tales. The Ever After High Royal Student Council debate. First question goes to Apple White. Why would anyone not vote for you?" Blondie announced.

"Let me just say I will preside over this school like I will my future kingdom—perfectly," Apple explained.

We cheered for her while the other side stayed quiet.
