A large aircraft carrier steamed ahead at full speed. From her island an American flag proudly waves in the wind. All around the carrier planes fall from the sky. Siren jets dual with US fighters as they attempt to line up for a torpedo run or begin their dive. Several escorting ships bravely try to defend the lone carrier from the waves of Siren jets. But as more torpedoes find their mark and bombs strike their target one thing becomes apparent. USS Midway is in danger of sinking.

Despite being one of the most powerful carriers of her time she is being brought to her knees by the onslaught of Siren airpower. As minutes drag on the carrier's list worsens to the point where she can no longer launch her aircraft. More Sirens line up to finish off the wounded carrier. However they are met with the flak and aa produced by two battleships that follow the large carrier.

The battleships throws everything they have at the enemy while the fighters from the carrier fueled by vengeance seek to protect the fleet from sharing the same fate.

Even as USS Midway continues to slowly list to the left her captain remains calm. He watch as the ships dual purpose single 127mm guns fire shell after shell at their attackers. He knows that even if this mighty ship is to sink she will not go down quietly.

After many more minutes the Siren jets finally began to fall back. It seems that Midway while severely damaged might survive this fight. Unfortunately for for the American carrier fate would not be so kind. A weakened compartment soon gives out letting more water into to ship. Midway begins to quickly list to the left again.

Damage control tries to contain the flooding but its too late. Men scramble to grab anything they can as the deck becomes too steep to stand. Planes and men side off the side of the ship as the left side 5in guns sink below the water. The battleships and escorts watch helplessly as Midway capsizes. Most of her 4,500 crew is trapped inside her hull or is unable to escape the suction caused by the sinking carrier.

Soon only the bottom of the hull sticks above the water. Though after half an hour Midway would finally slip beneath the waves. But before the lifeless large carrier could touch the bottom of the ocean she is surrounded by a bright light. Once the light fades away Midway is revealed to have disappeared without a trace.

Though her sacrifice would not be in vain. Over the past week Midway managed to hold off a massive Siren invasion force by herself. She bought time for
reinforcements to arrive and kept the Midway base from being destroyed.

compared to Yamato's nine 460mm cannons.

Soon the small fleet sails into a strange mist. Each ship uses its search lights to help guide the others through the mist and to avoid any collisions. However when the fleet exits the mist A-150 and the large cruiser Yoshino is nowhere to be seen...
