We've been on recon duty near home base for a while, nothing out of the ordinary appears aside from a couple of disfigured monsters that we faced a day ago which we took out with ease.
The area surrounding the outpost is nothing but charred forests, craters, bullet casings, forgotten equipment which we presume to be abandoned for years now and skeletons.
Ale:"Hey, this handgun still works!"
Ruak:"Despite being long forgotten, these weapons still work."
We were currently investigating an empty camp, there were a few crates and large tents, the inside of the first tent we explored were multiple beds from what we see without using our flashlights so we assumed this was a Triage Camp of sorts.
Ruak:"Rum, get over here and check the inside of this tent, i'll check the other."
I gave a nod to my captain as i head into the tent, turning on my flashlight, i looked around at the beds and noticed a few skeletons in military fatigues i can't identify, poor souls...
Ale:"Hey uh, guys? I think i found something that will shock you..."
I exited the tent i was in and looked over to Ale looking inside a box, Ruak also exited the tent he was investigating and we both head over to Ale.

Ruak:"Holy hell... What kinda weapon is that? Some kind of laser sniper rifle or something?"
Ale:"I don't know? Maybe we should leave it there..."
"We should take it with us, it might prove useful to us, and if the Techies manage to reverse engineer it, we can use them with our own technology."
Ruak:"Good idea, if theres a weapon like this then theres bound to be more enemies who uses these type of weapons so we should bag it."
