Chapter 29 

Her 

After hearing what Brian said I feel like there is a dagger that has been thrown to me yung parang yung maliit na pag-asa ko na baka pwede pa siyang mahulog sa'kin biglang nawala after hearing what he just said. 

I know how important a promise is. Just like how I promise myself that I won't let anyone broke and ruin me just like what I experience before and a promise to the important people in my life na kahit anong mangyari hindi ako susuko at hindi ko sila iiwan. 

Nangako din ako na babalik ako sa kanila kaya alam ko kung ano ang nararamdaman ni Brian sa pangakong binitawan niya sa isang mahalagang babae sa buhay niya. A promise is still a promise and knowing Brian he can't break it. 

He have no reason to break that promise anyway. 

I want to know more about that girl. What is with her to make Brian so afraid to hurt her. It's already given that she has a condition but I think Brian really adore her to the point he will create that kind of promise para lang maging masaya yung babae. 

When he go out of the room I pretend that I was asleep on the couch just to avoid him after what we talk about. Ayoko na makita niya na naapektuhan ako sa sinabi niya and doing this will help me to avoid it. Dahil kahit gaano pa ako kagaling magtago pakiramdam ko hindi ko magagawa kay Brian yun. 

"Mary," He called me pero nagpanggap pa din akong tulog and I even groan just to show him that I am already sleeping. 

I thought he will just leave me dahil usually naman umuuwi na siya ng ganitong oras pag pumupunta siya sa'kin but I feel my body being lifted at naamoy ko na yung pabango niya and his hands are now lifting me from the couch. 

Muntik ko ng madilat ang mata ko dahil gusto kong makita ang mukha niya habang buhat ako but I manage to bury my face on his chest causing me to smell his scent more. Alam ko naman kung saan niya ako dadalhin. 

I felt the softness of the bed, he put me slowly afraid to wake me up kahit na hindi naman talaga ako tulog pero alam ba naman niya yun. He also tuck me to the comforter at inayos niya pa yung ulo ko sa unan. Sa totoo lang ang hirap ng magpanggap na tulog. 

Hindi ba pwedeng iwan niya na ako dahil nahihirapan na ako e. Ang hirap ng magpanggap na tulog dahil nalalaman ko kung paano siya mag-alaga ng isang tulog na babae. 

Nagawa niya na kaya 'to doon sa babaeng sinasabi niya? Lucky her she is the first woman who experience this. 

"How come this woman manage to be beautiful even when sleeping." I heard him said. How can I still manage to pretend to be asleep if he will be like this! 

Naramdaman ko din na lumubog yung gilid ng kama and even with my eyes closed I can still feel him looking at me. Ilang minuto lang siyang ganun hanggang sa may gawin siyang hindi ko inakalang magagawa niya at mararanasan ko mula sa kanya. 

I feel him kiss the side of my forehead and caress my hair bago ko siya maramdaman na tumayo. 

"Good night, Maria Yllana." 

Yun lang ang huling naring ko mula sa kanya bago magbukas at magsarado yung pinto I open my eyes closely and look at the door at mabilis akong tumayo at dinikit yung tenga ko sa pinto ng kwarto and I heard a closing door and I'm sure umalis na talaga siya. 

I lean on the door and touch the spot that he kiss. Thinking that he did that to me while I am sleeping makes me feel the butterfly in my stomach. I really can't believe he did that. 

Alam ko na hindi naman dapat ako magulat doon dahil higit pa sa halik sa noo ang nagawa naming dalawa but the fact that he kiss my forehead thinking that I am sleeping makes it special for me.
