In search of love I went one day,
I thought it would be an easy task,
The way they show in fairytales,
A beautiful story with a perfect end,
I walked and walked there was no end,
I saw you standing on a bridge,
It was spring,
The cherry blossom had started blooming,
The clear sky above us,
The birds singing a beautiful melody,
The cool breeze running past your brown locks,
Your closed eyes and a beautiful smile curved on your lips,
I tried coming near you,
The more near I come the more far you go from me,
I tried running to you but all my efforts in vain,
It was then I realised,
That although I loved you,
We were not meant to be together,
That I would grow up but without you by my side,
That you would live a beautiful life with the love of your life,
But it wouldn't be me,
That we would live our lives,
Not holding each other's hands,
But you'll always be in my heart,
I love you now and forever.❤️
