It was a dark night,
The moon was shining soo bright,
Glistening on the river,
It's reflection making the river look like silver,
It's beauty is indescribable,
It reminded me of something or perhaps someone,
Someone far away from me,
Someone who was never meant to be with me,
Under the same sky watching the moon,
Singing a slow melody on their own ,
The moon shines upon my scars,
Reminding me how beautiful they are,
The moon reminds how to live my life through the darkest nights,
The moon reminds me how our flaws enhances our beauty,
The moon is surrounded by millions of tiny fairies,
That brightens up the night sky,
Like the shine of diamond under the spotlight,
The moon became my best friend,
For it saw the pain behind my smile,
And the fear behind my eyes,
The fear of being lost again,
The fear of being left out again,
The fear of losing someone again,
It knew millions of my secrets that were left untold,
The moon completed my broken heart,
It made me fall in love once again.❤️
