Chapter 13 (Warning: Shanghai Chapters!)

"赶快！赶快！我们要迟到了, 马里内特!" Y/n shouted, dragging her sister from the restuarant and into the streets.

"Y/n calm down, speak English I can't understand you~" She groaned, pulling out her phone which was already on the translator app.

"Hurry up! Hurry up! We are going to be late, Marinette!" It read, voice as monotone as ever.

"Okay, I'm coming geez. Late for what?"

Y/n pointed at Adrien, who was accompanied by Felix and his body guard (cause we need some romance tbh).

"Oh you are such a life saver, how'd you know?"

She pointed to Marinette's phone jumping for joy, she must've noticed her blue haired sister looking at it on the plane and during the car ride. Y/n seemed even happier when she saw Adrien and Felix. Marinette called out to them waving her hands in the air.

She didn't notice the hands taking away her things, but her sister did. Y/n growled, already someone taking away their things? What is this, Paris?! Land of Pickpockets?

"Y/n? What're you doing??" Marinette said, turning away from the boys while Y/n chased down the girl who'd taken away her sister's things.

The action had caught Felix's attention, he pulled on the boydguard's suit and then they were gone.

"I-it's nothing, nevermind." The blonde said, "Adrien you said you knew someplace we could go and eat?"

"Yeah, the Thousand Delights Restuarant, it's not to far and Marinette's uncle runs it! He is an amazing chef, I guarantee it," He smiled.

Felix nodded, "You two go ahead. I saw something in one of the shop windows. Text me the location and I'll be there."

The guard grunted in acknowledgement, taking Adrien to the shop.

Felix staye behind, following the Dupain-Cheng sisters. A group of males were following the pair, who had been accompained by another female. Y/n kept waving her hands for them to stop running but Marinette didn't listen.

"Alright! Quit it!" Y/n shouted, holding the unfamiliar girl's wrist. Her hand stretched outwards towards the boys, "Marinette you can't go jumping to help people you think are in need. This girl stole your things and these nice boys were just trying to help. Don't judge them because of the way they look."

She turned towards the girl, "Now, your going to tell us just what exactly what you think your doing with my sister's things!"

"Y/n, she probably doesn't speak-" Marinette intervened.

"Look, I'm sorry, okay? But, I need to sell your things for a good cause! There's this man who knows how to help me out with my family issues but I have to pay him to get the answer to my problem. It'll cost me at least 100,000 more yuan and I don't have any money myself or else I'd use it!" The girl said.

"You could've just said that in the first place!" The bluenette pointed out.

"She kinda couldn't Marinette, we are literally random strangers she met on the street while stealing your stuff for money. Look, we'll try our best to help you out in anyway we can. We- I understand your situation a lot actually, I get having issues with your family. You said he wants 100,000 yuan? I'll give him more than that so he is sure to help you."

Y/n smiled at the boys while Mari regained her things from the unknown bluenette.

"Oh wow, you can speak Chinese? Your sister didn't seem to understand us. My name is Lian, it's nice to meet you. The tall boy with the long hair is Kang and the one that looks like a dumpling is Jiao. We'd quite like to accompany you to dinner," The brown haired boy with the glasses said. His face red.

"Yay! Isn't this great Marin, my darling? We are already making so many friends, woo!"

"Uh, Y/n. What are we gonna do about Fei? While you were busy chatting it up with the boys you seemed to have forgotten about what we are really here for. We need to hurry so I can get to see Adrie- Get the ingredient for dinner!" Marinette repremanded.

"Oh so your name is Fei? That's a beautiful name. Don't worry, I have the solution to your problem. Lian, I'm sure our uncle is worried sick, do you think you, Kang and Jiao could escort Marinette back to the restuarant? I think this is something Fei and I should do alone." Y/n asked.

Lian soluted, "Sure thing Ma'am!"

She laughed, pulling Fei off the ground and linking her arms with her.

"Do you mind telling me just what excatly is going on with your family, Fei? Sometimes things are just better to talk about with someone. I hope you don't misunderstand me asking."
