Patton loved the little human! When Logan came to his pond to tell him what was going on, he had all but jumped up to go see it. Logan was explaining rules for what to do, what not to do and what the human liked and didn't like
"Don't pick it up, don't watch it whilst it's getting food or water, don't be too loud around it, it has sensitive ears. Don't crowd it, it's nervous. It sometimes likes when we play music, but once again, not too loud. I'm pretty sure that's it, we should ask Janus when we get back to the nest"
Patton nodded at that. He was getting more excited by the second, thinking about the human and how cute it would be. When he got to the nest he really wanted to run straight to the den and give the human lots of love, but he restrained himself, instead going to say hi to his friend
"Hi Jan!"
Janus put a finger to his lips and smiled, before whispering
"It's asleep right now so we need to be quiet. How are you, Patton?"
Patton grinned "I'm great! How's the little guy doing?" he whispered back, eyes flickering to the den for a few seconds
"It's doing pretty well, all things considered. It's still pretty nervous, but it's getting better, I thought it would be harder to get it to trust us, especially considering the curse it was under" Patton tilted his head at that
"What curse?" Janus blinked as if surprised
"Oh, did Logan not tell you? It was placed under a sleeping curse a few centuries ago and had only just woken up when we found it. We think someone must've cursed it as a prank. Who knows what other stuff could've been done to it before it was put under the sleeping curse.." Janus trailed off, shaking his head in disgust
Patton closed his eyes, trying to think of what kind of person would curse such a cute animal. Humans were completely defenceless; they had no claws, no venom, no sharp teeth, no magic and not to mention how small they were..
He shook his head to clear his thoughts "Wow... I can't even begin to imagine what kind of person they'd have to be to curse a human. Poor thing..." He looked at the den in sympathy "It was probably so confused when it couldn't find any other humans.."
Janus nodded "We think that's what it was trying to do when it woke me up"
Suddenly, there was a noise from the den and both Janus and Patton moved towards it as fast as they could, hoping that nothing was wrong. This was when Patton got his first glimpse of the cutie. It was staring up at them through the hole in its den. Patton gave a soft 'aww' before sitting down on the floor to look at it better. Its eyes were tracking his movement and he tried to guess just how small it was. Maybe five feet tall? Five and a half?
Logan soon came back with the food that had been hunted, and him and Janus went to prepare it, leaving Patton alone with the human. He resisted the urge to squeal, remembering the rules. He started baby-talking it
"Aww, you're so cute, yes you are! Who's the cutest little guy around? It's you, yes you are, yes you are!" He smiled at it, before Janus slithered over with the food
"Food time, little one" He called, placing the food in the circle.
Patton chatted with the others whilst they waited for the human to drag its food inside. They turned around when they heard the retreating footsteps stop, only to see it sat just outside the den with its food
Janus curled up like he did when happy or content, and even Logan managed a smile
Patton grinned, turning to the others "So, have you thought of a name for it yet?"

Roman wasn't sleeping very well, it was hard to get to sleep when he was still processing the fact that he was the last human. He was trying at least.. He managed to sleep for maybe an hour or two before he woke up, hearing a low croaking sound along with the hissing that he usually heard
He looked to the window hesitantly, before letting out a strangled noise, something like a scream. He did not expect a giant frog.
He calmed himself down, the frog creature wasn't really that scary, they were just.. unexpected. Yellow and Frog both rushed towards him at the scream and he looked up at them hesitantly. He was never going to get used to how big they were...
Frog sat down, presumably to watch him better and he backed up a single step. They let out a low croak, and Yellow soon left the two alone, to which Frog started ribbiting and croaking a lot more than they were previously, and based on the smile-like expression on their face, they just found him cute.
Soon, he heard the tell-tale hissing that meant he was getting food, and he perked up slightly. All of the giant creatures looked away and he relaxed slightly, grabbing his food. He looked at his house before deciding that he should stop being a scaredy-cat and eat outside for once. If Yellow and Blue wanted to hurt him, they would've already done so, and the addition of Frog only meant that there was another creature watching him.
Besides, he liked frogs, frogs were cool as hell. He sat down, watching them turn around, before looking at each other and conversing, presumably about his change in behaviour. They seemed happy, he noted, feeling somewhat relieved
Rather suddenly, a few minutes later, it went quiet, and a hiss was heard, Yellow looking directly at him. He was glad it was Yellow, Blue he didn't really trust after the whole thing when he was first brought there, with the magic. He still didn't know what that did.
He looked back at Yellow and an identical hiss was heard. Realization dawned on him and he stopped. Were they naming him? He already had a name.. He supposed that he had no way to communicate that and chose to respond anyway. He thought it was fair, he had given them names in his mind anyway
He couldn't really understand what the name they had chosen for him was, so he just hoped it wouldn't be embarrassing. He was a prince, after all, he needed to have dignity.
He watched them for a few minutes longer before going inside. Who knew that this would be so exhausting?
