The whole weekend was spent arranging our things in this condo.

It made me question some things.

Are my decisions for the better or... did I make it worse?

Umiling ako. It's for the better, I'm sure. It helped Avino and Kier keep their jobs, and it helped me to distance myself from my father. I don't know why I am suddenly questioning it. This is a win-win situation.

No marriage will be done in the future. Avino and Kier still have their jobs. Avino would still be able to study and later on become an engineer. I will not stay under the roof of toxicity, and I will disappoint my father—which really excites me, by the way.

For all the times he disappointed me and for manipulating us just to get what he wants, I think he deserves it. Nevermind the guilt that somehow knocks on me.

Basically, I'm not going to lose anything here. Or perhaps I'll lose the money I was supposed to inherit, but who cares? I'll make my own money, then. Not easy but better than being locked up in a marriage Avino and I don't want.

After that, we can announce that we won't get married.

Ano ba naman 'yong two years na kasama ko siya sa iisang condo? I've been on the same roof with him for how many years. This is just the same.

I sighed and roamed my eyes around my whole room.

We already arranged everything. Pagod kaming dalawa.

Wearing a white ribbed tank top and black sweat shorts, I opened the door and found Avino in front.

Napaayos agad siya sa pagkakatayo. I then saw him eyed me from head to toe.

Problema nito? This is not the first time he saw me wearing this as my sleepwear! He even saw me like that, too!

Wait a damn minute! He's not like that!

Parang siraulo.

Don't tell me he's still thinking about what I said? That we will fuck? Damn, Avino! Halos matawa ako.

An evil smirk formed on my lips. Lumapit ako at tinusok ang tiyan niya. Matigas. I then saw his red ears again.

See? I'm fucking right! Baka iniisip nito gusto kong mangyari talaga 'yon? I just said that to convince my father!

"Alam mo para kang tanga! Bakit iwas na iwas ka? I already told you I won't fuck you!" diretsahan kong sabi kasi nababanas na ako.

Mas namilog tuloy ang mga mata niya. Napailing ako sa frustration bigla. When he saw my reaction, he quickly composed himself. Gone is his shocked face.

"Stop being awkward! Hindi ka naman ganyan! One sentence about us fucking and you're suddenly being like this? You are annoying me, Avino!" iritado kong patuloy.
