Reader gets lost/abandoned and wonders to civil war set and the cast watches her until some one takes her in

Disclaimer I have no idea how fostering/adopting works so I know what's going to happen during this is completely wrong and very quick but it's for the sake of the story

*Chris's pov*

Me, Rob, and Scarlett were currently walking towards towards the lounge room when we heard a cry

"Did you hear that?" Rob asks looking for the source of the sound

"Yeah.." I say cutting my self off when there was another cry

"This way" Scar said as her mama bear instincts kicked in

We followed the sounds of cries until we turned a corner coming face to face with the sound maker

"Is that-" I started

"A child?" Rob asked

"Hey sweetie what's wrong?" Scar gently asked taking small steps towards the small girl

The girl looked at us before starting to cry more

"Hey its okay" I say trying to soothe the crying girl

"Where's your parents hunny?" Scarlett asked as she crouched down to the girls height

The little girl in question shrugged her shoulders as she continued to cry

We all looked at eachother before Scarlett softly placed a hand on the girls arm and lifted her head up to look at them

"Can I pick you up?" She asked receiving a hesitate nod

Scarlett picked her up and rubbed her back trying to soothe the poor girl

"Let's go to the others" Rob suggests

We all agree and make our way to the lounge room where the others were sitting

"Hey- are you holding a kid?" Mackie asks confused

"We found her wondering by herself poor girl hasn't stopped crying" I frown

"I say we keep her" Seb shrugged

"We can't just keep someone else's kid seb" I say looking back to the little girl who was now sitting on Scarletts lap continuing to cry

Lizzie went over to Scarlett and sat beside her and tried to help calm the little girl as well

The little girl made grabby hands to Lizzie who of course took her from Scars arms before cradling her close and rocking back and forth whispering 'shhhh it's okay love'

Scar continued to rub her back as we all talked

"What do we do?" Rudd asked as we looked at the now calm girl

"I don't know" Robert said

*y/n's pov*

I didn't know where I was but I knew I was in a nice lady's arms because she was hugging and rocking me like mommy does there was another nice lady too she was kind when she found me

I guess she isn't my mommy anymore....she said she couldn't keep me anymore And then left me while I was going down a slide

"Hey kiddo how old are you?" I looked up to see one of the man from earlier looking at me with a nice smile he said brown hair and was wearing glasses (Robert)
