Andrea : Okay..
Ruben : I can't do this Andrea. I simply don't trust you anymore and trust is the strength in a relationship.
Andrea : So it's over? You're throwing away seven years of love like nothing?!
Ruben : No, you did! You're the one who ruined it here.
Andrea : I already told you-
Ruben : Bullshit!
Andrea : Ruben-
Ruben : My decision is no more! Respect my decision Andrea...
Andrea : You're going to regret this Ruben! -walks away-

When I walked into the gym Ruben was holding a small white teddy dear, some roses and some pink balloons.

Alicia : Oh wow! Who's the girlfriend?
Ruben : I don't have a girlfriend and these are for you.
Alicia : For me?
Ruben : As an apology
Alicia : if you think you're going to buy me with gifts, than you're absolutely correct! Hand it over!
Ruben : -laugh- Here!
Alicia : Thank you!! You didn't have to. I forgave you last night.
Ruben : Maybe but I wanted to.
Alicia : Hehe but you forgot chocolates.
Ruben : Chocolates are very unhealthy.
Alicia : I'm not on a diet!
Ruben : Oh right
Alicia : -eye roll-
Ruben : Whatever let's get started.

Ruben : Fight me!
Alicia : Okay

I extended my leg out to kick him but failed. He dodged.
We were now waking around in circles. I was examining him. Waiting for the perfect moment to strike again.

I finally got some confidence and successfully punched him on the side of his face. He flinched in pain. That made me proud. That means I'm getting the hang of this self defense thing.

After a few more kicks and punches, some successful and some failed, I successfully managed to push him down on the floor.

Alicia : Man finally!!

Alicia
Yeah- I celebrated too early. He grabbed my leg pulling my down with him positioning himself on top of me.

Ruben : You were saying?
Alicia : ...

Ruben
I'm positioned on top of her. I have her hands pinned to the floor. We're both out of breathe due to all the fighting.

She wasn't moving. She wasn't trying to get out of this position. I stared at her and she stared back daring me to look away but I couldn't...

Little by little I started to lean in. Our lips were about to touch when-

Edwin : Hey guys- oh I'm so sorry!!!
Ruben : No it's fine..

Alicia
He stood up and held out his hand for mine to helping me up.

Edwin : I can come back later-
Ruben : No it's fine our two hours of training our up anyway.
Alicia : I should get going then-
Edwin : Actually I came here to ask you out.
Ruben : Huh?
Alicia : -laugh- Wait really?
Edwin : Are you busy tonight?
Alicia : For you? Never!
Edwin : I'm flattered!
Ruben : Please don't start with the flirting.
Alicia : -laugh- but no I don't have any plans. Why? Where are you taking me?
Edwin : To the fair.
Alicia : Really?!!
Edwin : Yep
Ruben : What about me? Or is this a date?
Edwin : You can tag along brother.
Alicia : What time do we meet?
Edwin : Uh four?
Alicia : Okay! I'll be there! I should go. I'll see you later boys!
Edwin : See ya!
Ruben : Alicia!
Alicia : Yes?
Ruben : You didn't win.
Alicia : I knocked you down so yes I did!
Ruben : We'll continue this tomorrow!

Edwin : -laugh- So!
Ruben : So?
Edwin : So you like her?
Ruben : No
Edwin : Okay I guess I'll shoot my shot with her.
Ruben : Don't you fucking dare play with her! She's been through enough she doesn't need more shit!
Edwin : Damn defensive much?
Ruben : I'm just looking out for my friend.
Edwin : Ah huh friend!
Ruben : ...
Edwin : Dude just admit you're starting to feel something more for her.
Ruben : Even if I did it wouldn't matter. Like I said I'm not ready to get into a relationship.
Edwin : Well then
Ruben : Anyway I'm going for a shower then head to the other gym.
Edwin : I'll go with you!
