They both got inside their apartment, welcomed by a small cute creature waiting for Mew. Yes it's chop, that's how Mew named his pet dog because it sounded cute.

"How is my munchkin doing? Did you miss me, love?" Mew cooed at chop who barked in agreement.

'What a sad life this is how I wanted to be with him but he is lovey dovey with his dog, but at least he looks fine forgetting his past' Gulf thought in his mind.

"I will leave him in his room sir" Mew said and went to put Chop in his room as Gulf nodded his head.

"What is it, Phi? Why were you that affected by that girl?" Gulf asked after they seated in the hall.

"She is my ex-girlfriend." Mew said, getting him strong.

"Okay, what's the problem with that?" Gulf asked.

"We broke up six years ago and the is a heavy, very heavy thing I'm carrying since then"

"She is the reason why you are suffering from this fear?" Gulf questioned. As he remembered Sara saying that Mew has been suffering from his phobia for the last six years and what, heavy thing?.

"It's a yes and no, yes for she was the one who caused it and no for she was not the one who affect me"

"Then who? Can I see that person?" Gulf was fuming knowing that there was someone behind his phobia.

"That person is no more sir" a lone tear dropped from Mew's eyes thinking about them.

'At Least i would have been happy if they were with me' Mew thought.

"What do you mean by no more Phi?"

"They were my blood, my life, my baby. She killed them" Mew started sobbing badly.

'What was that, his blood, his baby?' Gulf was genuinely confused.

"I can't understand you Phi" Gulf asked Mew.

"When I was studying at my university I met her, her name is Laya, I loved her and she used to love me too if I'm right" Mew said.

"What do you mean by you guess Phi, feelings should be mutual to call it a relationship" Gulf asked, raising my voice, it sounded toxic to him.

"Then why did she kill my child?" Mew shouted loudly and broke into a loud cry.

"Phi, calm down please, everything is fine now"

"Nothing is fine! my all happiness, strength, courage, confidence all changed into fear" he hiccuped badly.

"What do you mean by child Phi?" Gulf asked. And he knows it would trigger Mew but he needs a correct answer now.

"She was pregnant with my baby, we decided to accept them, but after four months she aborted my baby, she said she was not ready to have them" Mew said, stuttering badly trying to wipe off his tears which were continually flowing without listening to him.

'He was to be a father?' Gulf felt an ice bucket pouring on him.

He ran to his side and hugged him close. Losing a child is very hard, more than that he was too young to believe that he lost them.

"It's okay Phi, cry as much as you want!" He went limp on Gulf's hold. Gulf just corrected him on the sofa so he would be comfortable.

Gulf dialed Sara's phone after it got connected and he heard worried Sara's voice on the other side.

"He fainted Phi" Gulf said, explaining briefly, without pulling his rage on his voice.

"I expected that nong, he had cried but not so hard till he can forget them, but now I can see that he cried his heart out. It will help him recover soon" Sara said.

"When will you get home, Phi?"

"I'm getting ready for a meeting I will be back home directly from there so maybe an hour or little more I guess"

"I will wait for you Phi" Gulf said, cut the line.

Gulf went near Mew caressed his face, whispering love you and pecked him to sleep.

"Chop! Didn't you miss me?" Gulf opened Chop's room and faced him with his treats.

Chop is always a happy puppy when he gets treats.

He got his answer with a bark and wagging tail fastly.

'He is good when he sees his treats with me, only when I have treats in my hand, phew, always scary' he thought.

But his mind was clouded with Mew's past and his sufferings he faced when she aborted his child.

Time flew, it was almost two hours and Gulf heard the door open.

It was Sara.

"Phi!" Gulf signalled that Mew was on the sofa.

"Got it, help me carry the groceries" she said.

"I wonder who is the boss among us?" Gulf mumbled.

"It's me, do you have any doubts?" Sara answered with a question.

"Nope" Gulf went to the kitchen to help Sara.

"What did he say?" Sara asked while filling the groceries in the cabinet and fridge.

"He said her name was Laya, they were lovers back then and she aborted his baby six years back" he said gulping a lump in his throat.

It was really hard to digest.

"He didn't say that he saw the baby and he has been visiting them?"

"What do you mean by saw Phi?"

"He saw the baby after they aborted them, he did the funeral rites to them"

"Don't cry nong, it's long gone, but the pain is fresh for him" Sara said when she heard sobs from Gulf.

"It's very hard for a 20 year old boy, even age doesn't matter losing a child is hell and seeing them is god, I cannot think how much pain he went through" Gulf said sobbing and crying.

Sara went to Gulf and hugged him.

"He was in pain for all these years nong, so I tried my best to cure him. I even took him to a psychologist to change his mind but wherever he went he said it remained of his baby. But I guess you can help him. Please love him naa, he badly needs someone in his life" Sara said hugging while Gulf was crying on her shoulder.

"Please don't I beg you please" they both heard Mew squealing.
