Don't tease me

As they entered the villa with their shopping bags, Jas noticed Youcef & Thabi's bags full of fresh and delicious herbs and vegetables. She felt a little pang of competitiveness, hoping that whatever they cooked up wasn't as nice as Youcef's mother's maakouda , which had been unbelievably delicious.

Kobi, Juliet, Angie, James, and Najuma hovered around them, hoping to catch a glimpse of what they'd be having for dinner.

As they unpacked, Thabi filled up the kettle for tea. She frowned as she looked into the sink.

"Uh...Bruno?"

Bruno looked over at her.

She pulled a face "You know your porridge?"

He frowned. "Intimately"

"Ew" Jas chimed in.

He looked at her confused, before getting her joke. He laughed heartily. "Hey, no kinkshaming"

Thabi laughed. "Well, I wasn't going to touch it before, but I'm definitely not touching it now. Look!"

The porridge had formed a sticky glue, completely blocking the sink.

"Bit suspicious, the fact there's a cooking challenge, and Bruno's breakfast just happens to block the sink" Thabi narrowed her eyes at Bruno, conspiratorially.

Valentina gasped and pointed at Bruno "Sabotage!"

He brought his hands in front of him, defensively "I'm no sabba-ter! I swear! I thought it would just get washed away!"

Youcef crossed his arms. "So you're not a saboteur " he accentuated, correcting Bruno's pronunciation "You're just inept?"

"Frankly, Youcef, I'm offended that you even need to ask. Yes, it's because I'm inept."

Will stepped forward. "Don't worry, Thabi, I'll fix it"

Valentina stepped forward "Ooh, Will, my hero, I'll be your glamorous assistant!"

Will rolled up his sleeves, then dropped to his knees and started clearing under the sink. His hands worked quickly, and Jas found herself a little entranced. He knew exactly what he was doing. He drained the pipes, preempted leaks, and seemed to know exactly which joint to turn where, deftly removing an entire section of the pipe under the sink, and cleaning it out, before replacing it just as quickly.

She looked around at the other girls and noticed she wasn't the only one watching.

"Is anyone else a little bit turned on by this?" She asked, loudly.

"Mmm-hmm" growled Angie.

"Yep" added Valentina

"Definitely" nodded Juliet.

"100%" said Najuma

Thabi bit her lip

The other boys loudly voiced their disapproval, citing objectification and heteronormative stereotypes, while the girls just laughed.

Will affixed the last joint, standing up to turn the tap on, and everyone cheered as the water flowed smoothly down the newly-cleared drain.

"Sorry it took so long, I get a bit nervous when people are watching me do it."

"And we were definitely watching, babe" Valentina added.

"Watching a man fix a thing" Najuma placed the back of her hand to her forehead. 'Swoon"
