Jayanti Special.The glass of water
I wasn't supposed to hold
The class which won't start,
Till I have reached the threshold,
The wonder they did
Made me realise,
Life should be great
Rather than long.Education was the key,
To find my own street
But the farther I got
The muddled it got
Cause I was never more than,
Just a dalit.They say walk,
with your head held high
It isn't the same
When the water is too high
It took me a while to realise
Independence was the last key.The constitution we wrote
So that no one would have to take,
the same street,
The constitution we wrote
So that everyone could have,
A glass to hold...
